it is cu too
Culo and cul mean 'ass' in those language, while our 'cu' means 'asshole.
The proper translation for culo is 'bunda'.
ah yeah
Maybe in your country, not over here ,that's for sure.
Literally 0 in italia and portugal
Lmao Amerimutts
How do you say ass in pt-pt, cu?
RU: Putin
Cu means copper
complete pooskins. Don't even (You) me
yes
"Dragoste" sounds cool, though, so it gets a pass.
I laughed.
And how do you say asshole? Don't tell it's 'anus' because that's a formal term that we use too.
>Dragoste
sounds like slavic influence. similar to the word "dear" (or "expensive") in slavic languages. but it doesn mean literal love in any of them i think.
Buraco do cu
Do you guys actually use that expression often or are you just translating asshole literally?
Please don't get me wrong, I'm just genuinely curious because I don't browse /luso/ or any other general, so I don't know about these fairly mundane things.
very weird how italy has never been attacked despite having thousands of refugees

>Cu não significa só o anus
I know it doesn't, it can even mean ass too in some contexts in pt-br, but it's mostly used as anus.
I was just curious about the differences between pt-pt and pt-br, but all this talk about asses and assholes is getting pretty weird. I better stop asking so many questions.

how come some words are similar between italian frnech and spianish?
Why this post ??
DE: fitzcarraldo
No, the other dude is wrong.
"cu" means asshole, whilst "rabo" means ass. At least initially, we use them semi-interchangeably, with "buraco do cu" as a specifier, hence the confusion.
is this true?
Yes, but it's missing the Spanish "Piña" and the Brazilian Portuguese "Abacaxi"
kek fpbp
>the Spanish "Piña"
I heard the term pineapple came from this.
>Brazilian Portuguese "Abacaxi"
Interesting, thanks.
