In my opinion, every country should help when there's an international crisis and war. Based on their own capability to help, naturally, it makes no sense that a country should accept so many refugees that their society creaks and threatens to be rent asunder. But your country can probably help some people, and that's better than nothing. It seems people decided that they no longer need to show any solidarity when the people fleeing war have the wrong religion or skin color. It's unfortunate.
