If DC or Marvel let you write any story about any characters they own, what would you want to write?

If DC or Marvel let you write any story about any characters they own, what would you want to write?

>Batman
>a story where he rapes the Joker

A better Squirrel Girl comic.

The Justice League goes on a vacation around the world

Boy Commandos.

Go what they did with that Unknown Soldier series from a few years back and make it about Child Soldiers

A Joker mini series (5-6 issues)

Probably from the point of view of people around him. (Victims, goons, etc.)

Whor

I'd want to have full control over a lesser known character that I was allowed to have full control of the reigns with, where I was allowed to create my own world for them that is fairly removed from the wider Marvel Universe.

I've had this fantasy with many characters, but the one I'd want to write the most is Stingray. I'd make him the leader of a Sealab styled deep sea research colony with his wife, model him after eccentric ship captains from the pulp action adventure stories I've read, and have him engaged in a bizarre fantasy landscape where he politicizes with Atlanteans, battles the barbarian hordes of Attuma, and unravels the mysteries of the mysterious Lemurians while exploring the ancient ruins of Atlantis.

Sgt Rock killing Nazis with Mademoiselle Marie, Spy Smasher, and Phantom Lady. A spec ops team that chases around Baron Blitzkrieg in campy and hedonistically violent short stories.

The Death of the Joker.
Just him getting cancer and dying, and how it affects everyone

Deadpool vs Joker

Alien Green Lanterns in space saving other aliens from other other aliens.

Gordon, please.

I also have a deep seated fondness for Attuma, the shark riding barbarian bastard, so after a handful of battles between Stingray and Attuma, I'd try to write a sort of friendly rivalry with occasional alliances between the two.

I'd like to include a few of my own original characters into this framework of this story in the scientists, engineers, paramilitary security experts, wealthy philosophical investors and deep sea scavengers who find themselves there through the whims of fate, who all occupy the research station headed by Stingray and his wife and give it personality.

I'd love to write their interactions with Attuma's shark riding barbarian hordes after they've reached a shaky alliance, visiting their deep sea caverns that they base themselves in.

Booster Gold. I'd make a new roster for the Conglomerate, they'd be ridiculous and inept and greedy to the world but in secret be on Multiversity style adventures saving whole eras of DC

First thought was Tangent Comics or Just Imagine Stan Lee's DC Universe.
Some great alternate universe characters that have nothing else going on.

I would pay whatever it takes to see more Earth-9 Flash.

I'd take Batman and start off where Inc. left off.

>Bruce and Tim are the Batman and Red Robin of the world, Selina occasionally joins Bruce
>Dick and Damian are the Dynamic Duo of Gotham
>Jason is redeeming himself as Wingman
>Babs is still Oracle
>Steph is still Batgirl with Babs as her mentor
>Kate is exploring the magical side of the DCU
>Cass is leading the Outsiders

>Show off Dick's tenure as Batman
>Forever Evil happens
>Dick "dies" as Batman
>Batman Inc and Bruce are put under the spotlight, mainly Bruce for letting his ward die
>Grayson events proceed as normal
>Jason temporarily takes up the mantle of Batman while Dick is "dead" and Bruce is fighting Ra's for Damian's body
>Damian is resurrected without the Darkseid stuff
>Jason and Damian team up for a while
>Dick returns and the mantle is returned to him
>Jason returns to life as Wingman, maybe travels the world to learn more about his family
>Time passes
>Bruce has to retire from active duty due to injuries and age
>Tim has retired from the vigilante life and become a P.I.
>Dick dies during a crisis like event
>Damian takes over as Batman
>Joker returns after years of inactivity
>Pushes the family to their limits
>Bruce suits up one last time and dies with Joker in Crime Alley
>Without Bruce or Dick around, Gotham ends up in a Batman 666 scenario
>Cover Damian's tenure as Batman
>Time Skip
>Batman Beyond

Clone Saga 2: Clone Sagaist

A lighthearted Spoiler ongoing.

Richard Rider cosmic adventures

A detective based Question ongoing.

Funny you should say that since she's one of my favorite Tangent characters as well.
I find it interesting that as much as alternate universe versions of the Flash are part of its brand, none of them are as different as she is.
The Joker and Green Lantern are pretty great, too.

>Superman goes all out already

I just want to see a fight where that guy just goes: FUCK IT. I'M TAKING YOU DOWN

So Joker by Azzarello?

Yeah dude the whole Tangent universe is cool, any reccommendations where to find them? I've really only been exposed to it through Multiversity and wikipedia. Green LAntern as like an undead sage though, that's my shit

Kill off current Peter Parker and replace him with older and wiser Peter Parker from different universe

DC
I'd want to do a Batman story wherein Batman is indirectly responsible for a good man's death, and the fall out of that death fosters a new villain to add ro his rogues.
I'd also like to do a Flash comic wherein Wally is universe hopping, trying to get back home, but he can't seem to get there, seeing various familiar alternate comic book universes and characters.

Marvel
All New Midnight Sons, teen team up book dealing with Marvel's mystical and supernatural side using pic related as a team Have them call themselves The Midnighters in the comic, and make the title a sort of running joke.
Spider-Men, a sort of Batman and Robin duo book with Peter and Miles as his sidekick and heir to the webs, have it be a stelth redemption comic for Lizard.

The Tangent one-shots were reprinted in two volumes simply called Tangent Comics. (The one-shots were created to fill a gap in DC's release schedule, and then they did it one more time after positive reception.)
There was also a follow-up miniseries from 2008 or 9 called "Tangent: Superman's Reign," but it wasn't as good.

I'd love to see a Green Lantern series about just doing space-cop things.
No fate of the universe.
No spectrum wars.
Just space-cop stuff.

Like a murder on a neutral space station.
Or a heist on a space-train or a space-bank.

Cop stuff, but in space.

Make New Fantastic Four with the team of X-23, Ghost Rider (Robbie), Kamala Khan & Hulk (Amadeus Cho)

>For DC
Basically I'd write a story set after Darkseid has conquered earth and Batman, plus a few other heroes are fighting a real futile resistance against Darkseid.

Sort of like a combination between Rock of Ages (for idea) and the Knightmare vision in Batman v Superman (for visuals).

>For Marvel
A story about Wolverine and Sabertooth before weapon X when they were brothers in arms explaining why Sabertooth hates Wolverine. Basically it would be because there was this teenage girl who's some super badass and Wolverine and Sabertooth befriend and protect her. Both are ordered to kill her and Sabertooth refuses, but Wolverine does it and Sabertooth doesn't forgive up and quits just before Weapon X.

Afterwards Sabertooth is really angry that Wolverine can't remember killing the girl so Sabertooth attacks Wolverine every year on the anniversary of her death.

Cass Cain as Nightwing

Just porn, nonstop porn. Great artists drawing official canon smut

did you read the Battleworld: Thors tie in to Secret Wars? It was a cop drama, but used a multitude of Thors, pretty awesome and worth checking out to be honest.

Thor

He takes a trial similar to The Trials of Hercules to regain the worthiness of Mjolnir (honestly he deserves it because HE IS FUCKING THOR, that is HIS name, but for storytelling's sake, he would have to "earn it"). Final issue is him fighting Whor, being able to best her with his will and worthiness alone (after he regains the powers of Mjolnir, Jane dies of cancer like a bitch) Final panel is his hand holding Mjolnir once again.

Flash's The Rogues

6 part mini-series that's about the Rogues doing rogue shit, running into Flash and finding creative ways to get away People probably hate this but...I would use new52 Rogues where they have powers, same for Cold pre-Forever Evil Drawn by based Manapul

Dick fucks the DC Universe and Bitches Love Spider-Man

A comic about Bruce at the end of his career, and Damian at the beginning of his.

Call it the Batmen of Gotham.

Jason Todd
>From where he is now (kind-of part of the bat family, anti-hero sort of role) and have him start to crack as the madness from the Lazarus pit creeps through him. He isn't pissed with Batman and still holds hatred for the Joker, but the madness is making his perception of reality shift.
>Slow have the comic turning from anti-hero back to villain as he tries to purge the world of what he sees as evil, before becoming consumed by the madness and begins attacking people randomly.
>He acts on instinct and is like a feral wolverine type character.
>His internal monologue is sane however and attempts to reclaim his mind from what he assumes is some sort of possessive demon.
>The story doesn't directly confirm whether he is sane and possessed or it is just another feature of the madness.

>Cassandra Cain as the Batgirl joining forces with Katana to bring down the League of Assassins, discover that LoA is supported by various big business and governments including the US.

>A final showdown between Cass Cain and Davi Cain + Lady Shiva.

>Cass kill both of them and becomes the new ruler of the LoA and Katana is the subcommander

>She use the LoA assets to go after the Jewish NWO and destroy it.

I'd write a story where Captain America was actually a sleeper agent of Hydra and the Red Skull and he ended up getting both Bucky and the Falcon killed. Probably the Wasp too cause she is weak as fuck and an Avenger needs to die for the shit to get really real.

>Cass as Katana's sidekick

I had a few ideas. A run where the majority of Batman's enemies give up a life of crime and engage in other pursuits.

One where Superman faces a speedster who doesn't use the speedforce but is undeniably faster than Superman. He has to use wits, detective work, and clever use of his powers to defeat this guy. One of the panels would be "Slow" spray painted with the Superman symbol.

Superman talking with a child who explains to him why he wants to be like Superman and what makes Superman so great.

>2 Asian chicks.
Nice....

>DC
Outlaws team with a OC qt telekinetic/telepath/girl to replace Starfire

>Marvel
Reboot the original Xmen or start a new X factor like team with new mutant rosters, no school just gov, world espionage drama

>spider-gwen gets the venom symbiote while visiting 616
>venom relapses and once again becomes obsessed with spider-man
>being bonded with gwen stacy twists the obsession into being somewhat loving
>"gwenom" goes on a killing spree, targeting all of peter's former love interests
>says she'll only stop if peter quits being spider-man and settles down with her and starts a family

Reinvent new Sentry

It better ends with Darkseid crushing Batman's skull. Anti Life justifies my hatred.

Marvel

It's just a silly fanfic that I've always had that I think would be fun to have made. Captain Marvel, War Machine, Black Panther, Medusa, Ulysses and some other literal who's hanging out when Ulysses gets a headache, predicting that Thanos will attack Earth. Thanos WITH GUNS (I know, I said it was silly) arrives, but it met by some heroes (Capt Marvel, She-Hulk, Spectrum, Medusa, Black Panther, others). Anyways, they start fighting, Rhodey appears with a surprise attack, but it doesn't work as Thanos grabs Medusa by her shit weave and throws her at Rhodey. He accidentally shoots a missile that hits She-Hulk in the tits (LOL). Thanos grabs Rhodey and kills him. She-Hulk ends up dying, because I think it would be silly that she somehow dies to a missile

>Marvel
I'd write a 6-issue miniseries that revolves around Shocker trying to become a superhero. Even though he makes a good effort trying to help people, he is still pursued by Spider-Man, who is convinced that Shocker will never change. The first act is Shocker trying to help people while being attacked by both superheroes and supervillains, with the second act revolving around Shocker teaming up with Daredevil and proving himself capable of being a hero. The last act is about the public reacting to Shocker becoming a superhero. The comic ends with Shocker starting his own Avengers group after being rejected by all of them.

Make Peter x Carol

If I had control, I'd create a DC universe with continuity.
Have Superman land in the 1910s, but the story actually be set around now.
Superman's been active for 100 years.
The first Batman died in the 90s after being active for 30 years.
Multiple Flashes.
Just a lot of continuity.
Every so often you can write a period story.
Like Supreman in the 30s or how he experienced WW2.
Or Batman in the 70s.

I'd just like to see how the characters would change as they got older and how the things that happened in their lives changed them.

Larfleeze falls in love with a female green lantern, he's a greedy crazy possessive scumbag. She's a super crazy OCD freak with abandonment issues.

Basically, each individual is so psychologically fucked in their own ways that it ends up genuine true love. In the end, she winds up pregnant with his babies.

I'll leave it a total cliffhanger as to how Larfleeze reacts to being a father. Just to fuck with the readers heads.

I want to do an X-Men series. Well, more like a New Mutants or New X-Men series. Basically X-Men High School. I don't even care about any particular X-Men. I'll salvage whoever is alive and benched from New Mutants, New X-Men, Generation Hope, and whatever else. I'd like Anole, Rockslide, and Glob Herman though.

I think they always fuck it up by having their school bits too light or by having them just act as a superhero team. I think they should just be shitty teens with powers who have to go to school. I don't see them actually going out on missions or genuinely risking their life, that would mean whoever is running the school is a psycho. Maybe an attack on the school but I think it would be better for them to have drills for that and then complain that they never have to break out the Magneto Readiness Kit. It's all a big tribute to teen drama and high school movies.

That sounds cool. Obviously not the main universe, right? Who would be the first and second Batman? How does his death affect Superman and the others? JSA with Superman?

Remember on Dexter's Lab when Macho Man Randy Savage played an intergalactic wrestler?

That. I'd do that. An intergalactic wrestling promotion using the characters of either DC or Marvel.

Cass dad is a White guy (David Cain).

Spider-Men book that focuses on both Peter and Miles. Peter officially takes Miles under his wing and starts training and mentoring him to be the best Spider-Man he can be instead of just saying "ur spideymanz now".

Peter handles gadgets and stuff that Miles can use that Peter used to have back in the day, plus some new ones that can work in tandem with Miles' extra abilities.
Also, teach Miles not to rely solely on his invisibility and venom strike alone and teach him that sometimes you gotta take care of things the old fashioned way.

Also set up Peter/Carol with Kamala/Miles as a tease mostly with the legacies working towards getting the mains together in the same vein as the Parent Trap. Miles can ask Peter for girl advice and Peter can fumble awkwardly with it.

Not doing a Batman and Robin-esque type of book with both Peter and Miles in 616 Post-Secret Wars seemed like a wasted opportunity tbhonest. Although I understand that they were trying to push Miles away from the image that he was just Peter's sidekick. But at least make him Peter's partner or something.

Who writes a shit like this?

I know but she still Asian

>Marvel

Make X-Men Days of Future Past the actual status quo. The dream has failed.

Sound so cheesy but I want it to happens

I'd write a story where all of the X-Men join in to beat the shit out of Cyclops for an entire run before killing him

New gods story. I'll try to write it incorporating elements from lives of real life prophetic figures.
Malhedron is a slave who's freed by Highfather. There's also going to be a story about Bekka being whipped for scissoring with a Forager and then being married off to Orion.

Shit's gonna be cash yo.

I'm gonna go for the deep cuts here:
A book starring a modified version of Annie Cassidy, one of the side characters in Delano's run on Animal Man; she's a cynical hedonist dealing with supernatural horrors, much like Delano's Constantine, but unlike him has a daughter and responsibilities outside of the occult, and is usually slightly out of the loop on things.

Cassandra Cain porn draw by Ed Benes.

Assuming I have the talent to pull it off then I want to write more surreal as fuck Doom Patrol stories.

That sort of schtick doesnt go along with the Justice League. Comics have changed a lot. Hell, it wont even go along with X-Men any more. But you might be able to write an Avengers book with that premise.

Two alternate universe batmen with slightly less tragic backstories (the main divergence is that both have only one parent die) meet each other and decide to team up, and fight crime in each-others worlds and eventually through the Multiverse in a light and campy adventure, with actual Batman hardly ever playing a part. The one raised by Martha, Robin the Rogue, is an artist by daylight, more focused on martial arts and acrobatics, the other a straightlaced doctor focused on gadgets. I'm deciding whether to call him Blue Bat to make a joke that he basically stole all his ideas from Ted Kord and emphasize a red and blue color scheme, or call him Dr. Bat just because that name has a cheesy appeal to me.
Neither of them is as skilled as Batman, neither of them even being part of their universes' trinity or even a prominent JL member, and even their rogue's gallery is designed to make them seem like D-listers, similar to the way Milligan used to make campy-by-design villains and still run with them like Green Cigarette and Envelope girl.
But to begin with, both are happy they don't live in Earth-0 Bruce's world, until they see alot of the people they could have helped and totally failed specifically neither went to the circus, and both have to deal with evil Dick Graysons. And both eventually decide they need to take crime fighting more seriously, seeing how Batman can do so much more despite having had a way rougher time than they ever have.

Terminator 2 ripoff with Superman vs a shapeshifting Brainiac

Condiment King and a bunch of other nobody villains like The Eraser, Polka-Dot Man, Rainbow Rider, Kite-Man, etc. create a new Legion of Doom but after a Starro invasion takes out the Justice League they rise to the occasion and save the day, but nobody ever learns they did and think the Justice League did.

The rest of the book is about them trying to be evil and failing at it and end up helping more often then not. Team-up with Plastic Man as well.

[spoile]something good

Star Sapphires, team book of sexy aliens traveling the cosmos also featuring Space Cabbie.

Don't know what the full team would be made up of, but one of them would definitely be a sexy female Bizzaro if a Powergirl Bizzaro doesn't already exist.

Ultron runs for president - and wins. Under the stipulation that after the main story is done, he remains president for the next 4 years of publication and Bendis or any other writer can't write a story where he gets impeached or assassinated.

>Batman x Kamen Rider Joker

A malfunctioning Nick Fury LMD that's been on the run for years, helping in the shadows and thwarting HYDRA cells for years finds a knock-off Ant-man suit being developed by HYDRA and steals it, becoming the SUPERIOR ANT-MAN!

Legion of Superheroes

"The Astonishing Avengers"

Goes back to what The Avengers was all about, taking the lesser known and less popular characters and putting them together in a spectacular showcase. The team features a revolving cast of characters without their own books, lead by Hawkeye and Wasp.

Somebody kills the Joker and not everything goes to shit. Actually things get better.

Or a story where the Elite are presented as right (which they were). You have to kill super villains if they keep escaping and slaughtering people.

A DC universe with a coherent narrative with the least amount of bullshit. Have a bunch of writers plan everything out instead of throwing out twists and have editors make sure it is coherent and rational. So people that die stay dead (except if that is their power like Vandal Savage). Also fix power levels. So random aliens exposed to sun are not more powerful then Space Cop empowered by the most advanced aliens race. And man in Bat suit isn't as relevant as demigods. Also stop making Earth the center of literally everything. Finally have governments act rationally aka not keep locking mass murderer worse then Hitler in a prison with a lower safety rating as a moist cardboard box. Just execute them and if that is impossible then contain them permanently like buried alive in concrete or blasted into the Sun.

Moon Knight run where Spector goes to Egypt because Khonshu and ends up defending Cairo and interacting with local super villains and fighting ancient egyptian gods with khonshu's aid.

Would probably use it to extend Moon Knight's lackluster rogues gallery. Add a Scarab beetle themed villain, a locust/bug woman (think d'vorah from MKX), maybe a super villain/villain team based on the biblical plagues of egypt, maybe even throw in a superpowered mummy for good measure. Play up the supernatural themes but also keep the classic guardian of travellers elements like having him save some children from a sex trafficking gang.

Basically just flesh out Mooney's rogues gallery and relation with egypt and Khonshu but really I'm already having a blast with the current Moon Knight run so its not a must right now.

This is a really nice variant. BATMAN PEPE IS THE SHIT!

This seems like a popular idea. Is everyone playing Arkham Knight again?

This. I've been reading Grant Morrisons run and I want more. Especially want to see more creativity with Animal Vegetable Mineral Man, like him turning one arm to copper and the other into a T-rex head and creating an electric T-rex head by touching an open wire. AVM Man's powers lead themselves to such wacky shit, especially in something as out there as the Doom Patrol.

>WWII ongoing starring Cap, Bucky, Wolverine and Namor

>a decent Batman Beyond comic with no damian and no Dick-cucking

>Frank Castle Becomes a Ghost Rider.

Batman is stuck in a fake earth filled with robot humans,Doesn't hold back.

edgy teenager detected

Alpha would be fun.

My story would be called The Most Powerful Loser in the Universe.

?

Why is it edgy to want nutcases like the Joker to be killed considering they have killed thousands and can't be contained.

I would do a story with Solomon Grundy as a 1920's mob enforcer.

>Marvel
>Cyclops: Remembrance

Written and drawn in a noir style, the run would start at Cyclops' funeral, not being attended by many people. The series would recount how Scott felt in his most crucial battles and moments as recounted by his few friends in a succession of intermittent flashbacks. The story would follow Emma Frost as she asks the few X Men still alive today about their thoughts on their former leader, while Emma Frost also shares her thoughts albeitly not publicly as she is the only one to have known Scott in a deeper level (that's also still alive).

The run would essentially bring closure to the Cyclops character instead of the off-screen death they pretty much gave him ever since All-New started. In reality, I'm just a degenerate shipper fag who wants to see his Emma X Scott OTP back in canon

>Sentry

I'd also retcon his origin of being a drug addict and go back to the origin of him being a kid that worked for the professor and he accidentally drank the super soldier serum that gave him his extraordinary powers

It would NOT end with Batman having fisty cuffs with Darkseid.

It would be about freedom vs fascism; life vs death.

I'd do a story for DC about Slam Bradley. A private-investigator story where he searches for a missing child around Gotham.

I'd write an alt-universe Spider-Man + Black Panther comic.

Spider-Man's parents were archaeologists exploring Africa. Being the first white outsiders to Wakanda since WW2, T'Chava (made-up grandfather of the clan) invites them in for some unknown reason.

Peter and T'Challa become friends in a little-brother big-brother relationship. Despite being a foreigner and a white man, Peter is allowed to learn with T'Chala the things involved in Wakandan cultism/spirituality. The Red Spider Totem takes a shine to the young foreigner and petitions the Panther to take him as his champion. A questionable move, but the Red Spider isn't particularly Wakandan; it's merely a Spider Spirit. Arachnids are prolific on every continent, while Panthers are not. Peter becomes the chosen of the Spider.

Things happen. A Coup takes place in Wakanda, and it sees Peter's parents murdered and T'Chala's family killed. Wakanda stays isolated from the west, but T'Chala and Peter wind up growing up in New York City, with the Wakanda Animist Cult a distant memory. They grow up as brothers, raised by Ben and May.

T'Chala as he grows up becomes enamored with American afrocentrism with his identity crisis. Though still brothers, Peter remains a nerd. The means by which Peter gets stung by that spider comes down to an engineered spider being led to bite Peter, destined by the Totem. However, the two are mistaken for Mutants given their powers, and that gets an early version of the X-Men involved. Yes, I WOULD actually have T'Chala and Storm have a better written start to their relationship throughout the series

Finding they don't fit the X-Men afterall, they go back to defending the streets and the spirit world. (continued)

The Inadequate Spider-man
Peter Parker is a stereotypical highschool nerd. Big glasses, acne, hunched over, braces, speech defects, soupbowl hair cut, pants up to his belly button. The works. One day on a field trip he gets bit by a radioactive spider and becomes Spiderman. He puts on a red sweater with a big spider drawn on it, an aviator cap, goggles and a scarf and patrols the city trying to stop crime. From all of this, his ego grows too. He thinks that he's cool now and acts tough, but he's still the butt of the joke. His only friend in school is the stoner hippie Marry Jane Watson, who he has a crush on. Every night he spies on her, because he's under the impression that is what people in love do. His oneliners are extremely corny and leave the villains more often than not in the cringe position. Also Flash is a greaser bully.
It's more or less a parody

Dr. Strange would play the role of a cryptic, unnamed mentor through it all. Pointing them in the direction their dreams and the spirit world is pointing them, getting them to deal with the restless creatures. Only after long and grueling trials and being steered around the way Zordon steers the Rangers, does T'Chala earn the right of the Panther, and becomes the only King of Wakanda to earn the title while overseas and abroad. So great are their deeds that the totems have no choice but to recognize he's earned every responsibility of being a Wakandan king.

So crowned, their next task is to take Wakanda back. The next chapter of adventures sees Spider-Man and Black Panther adventuring in Wakanda like something out of a cyberpunk African adventure. Wakanda in this time has gone to _shit_. A post-apocalyptic paradise lost, as its been managed to shit. Zombified technology become horrible mutants as restless and angry spirits make them monstrous, an African dictator with Vibranium weapons and armored vehicles. They learn how Wakanda has become a third world distopia in just fifteen years, with a Wakanda diaspora throughout Africa. It's at this time Dr. Strange reveals they're assigned to re-collect the Vibranium weapons and metal being used around the world, from Stark's labs to Russia to South America, as the incompetent dictator has been selling it out of desperation.

Enlisting the X-Men, Spider-Man and Black Panther siege the kingdom, where the final showdown begins. Of course, T'Chala becomes king again. In spirit and in deed, king, and an African monarch besides, but he's tainted too. With the outside world. And no matter what he does or thinks, T'Chala will always have a bit of New York City in his heart.

T'Chala sees this as an opportunity to open Wakanda a little bit. Just a little. It ends with him starting to deal with his broken country to bring it back to its excellence, seeing the value of the outside world.

Static and Jaime Reyes both go off to college, become room mates and form their own little trinity with Stargirl/Supergirl/Stephanie Brown.

It would be a comedy book with them trying to get people to take them serious as a group, learning to be friends with each other and teaming up with other superheroes like Superman and Wonder Woman.

A big comic

Stingray gets not respect, but I like him. At least he likes his job and is happily married

For You.

For DC: Red Hood and Scarlett (Vertigo where Bruce!Bats stays dead), Red Robin and the Black Bat (starring Red Robin and Black Bat alongside Spoiler establishing them as a menage a trois), or Yellow Lantern (an OC Sinestro Corp. "good guy")

For Marvel: a Star Wars Legends comic set in the New Sith Wars, either one set during the Sictis Wars starring a Kreia-esque character, or one set a decade before the Dark Age about a "good person" Jedi destined to become the Dark Lord and usher in the Dark Age slowly being corrupted by the Dark Side and becoming a Sith Lord

Something about Jaime watching one two many toku shows and going full Rider, he'd even start posing and wearing a scarf.

A proper reintroduction for this cast of characters.
Critical requirement: no 20th/21st Century characters as Legion members.
