Ditko and Kirby were professional friends and admirers of each other's work. Ditko inked a lot of Kirby's stuff and Kirby created Mr. Miracle with Ditko in mind as the artist (hence Miracle being a thing agile acrobatic Ditko style character more than a powerful Kirby one).
