But what do you even mean by "the information itself". If you cannot describe something in terms of it's physical self, how can you describe it?
The information in a PC is the binary code. This is then converted to a pattern of photons emitted by LEDs on a screen. This is sent to the brain via the eyes as an electrical impulse and finaly the brain understands it via chemical and electrical impulse patterns.
Perhaps the "information" begins to exist once the brain decodes it, but that is still a physical process.
