The Big Red One.
> In the "Reconstruction" documentary, Robert Carradine says that when he, Mark Hamill, Bobby Di Cicco and Kelly Ward first met Lee Marvin, Marvin didn't say anything at first. After they got into a taxi to drive out to the shooting range where they would hone their skills, Marvin finally said, "Which one of you is Carradine?" Robert Carradine answered, "I am." Marvin's response: "Fuck you, Carradine." A short time later, after they'd been working together, Carradine asked Marvin why he said that to him. Marvin replied, "Because yours was the only name I recognized."

The movie is fucking garbage after the d-day scene.
No.

Wrong.
Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds is unironically the best WWII kino of all time.
It goes from being a super gritty reenactment of WW2 to being a schlocky action film without any of the charm. The final battle is intense but the entire premise of the movie is retarded.
I'll admit the final scene at the cemetery is kino.

Sam Peckinpah's Cross of Iron is really good OP. Das Boot is typical WWII trash, well made minus writing not worth watching.
Also watch The Longest Day and Battle of Britain.

Europa Europa (1990)
eBay years ago, but that was when it was still just released and relatively cheap. the production run is long over now so they're going to be expensive.
but look up the company Dragon in Dreams. they do the best WW2 German figures IMO, so if you want any Nazis, they're the best in the game.
on an unrelated note, i just looked at their site and they also got a Donald Trump figure out now, kek.
