ITT: Masterpieces nobody saw

I saw it and it was hardly a masterpiece. pretty good though

It was cheesey and the book isn't much better

...

I suggested that my friend and I watch it, not really knowing what it was about. Pretty big mistake given that her Grandfather was dying of cancer. He passed away on her birthday. RIP Howard.

her?

This movie fucking blew

It was ok but it was no BvS

I'm kinda putting it off because I think it's gonna make me cry like a stupid fucking baby all throughout. I'm going through a weird "I'm not a kid anymore and all the cool shit that happened in books and movies will never happen to me, there's no magic in the world and I'll never have an adventure" phase. It's in Redboxes here but I'll probably just buy it.

Her as in my friend.

...

pan's labyrinth but worse. it was fine but not a masterpiece by any means

Can someone spoonfeed me the meaning of the second story? I thought it was supposed to be about his father, but he fucks his granny good. Why?

...

I loved it too, and sadly saw it in an empty theatre despite it being opening weekend.

...

The best story imo. The pastor was willing to give up his beliefs and preach sermons in favor of the apothecary to save his daughters. The moral was that belief is the best cure and that sacrificing it for anything will destroy you.
I don't think it was meant to tie directly into his relationship with his grandmother or his father, just to segway into his destructive fit of rage (the first time in the film it is hinted that the Monster and Connor are one in the same)

...

Please. The internet stuff in the film made me question if anybody involved in its production had ever even been online before.

Dude faith is a mental illness LMAO - The Movie

...

...

So it was about Connor not really comitting to destroying shit and just being a little bitch? It makes sense.

I bought that for my Bunnyfu but haven't got around to watching it yet.

>nobody saw
That's not how it works

Prove god is real. I'll wait.

Unironically this. Most original and funny imho. Ever show I've watched after this copied some elements or actual jokes from it

...

This movies was one of the best films last year

Three indie arthouse thrillers that no one talks about.

This.

Unappreciated Kino.

The visual effects for this thing were incredible

So COMFY.

I post this whenever I can. Comfy and sexy at the same time with a touch of disgust.

I loved Resolution but this bored me to tears.
Am I a pleb?

Let The Right One In is always talked about in almost any horror discussion

Everyone saw that and it was garbage.

I think this movie was pretty good, especially as a physiological horror.
>best friend doctor
>gf nurse
>trusts best friend doctor to do operation on him
>doesn't actually go to sleep and enters an out of body experience
>finds out his friend and gf have ulterior motives

>he thinks nobody saw scrubs
you must be at least 18 to post here

...

I fucking love Mike Flanagan movies. Pic related is the most beautiful horror movie I've ever seen.

Does the movie have the orgy at the end?

...

I kinda want to see it, because of the poster and because it seems to be parodying vampire movies, but again the poster doesn't inspire me with much confidence. Specially the reviews in it.

Dude religion is a lie and faith is a superstition.

stop being a cryhard faggot.

prove he isn't

it's good. it's one of the best comedies of the century. watch it. or dont.

or kys.

Prove God isn't real.

*She

Speaking of faggots, how bout you stop sucking dicks for a few minutes.

if god was real life would have purpose/meaning/value.

>prove my fantasy wrong.

nah dawg. sux dix all day bro. in the name of the one true Lord Satan.

...

>prove something literally beyond human comprehension definitively does not exist

If God is real. This post will not submit.

>Prove god is real
prove your subconscious is real

>beyond human comprehension
>man was made in God's image
>God gives a shit about what we do

Nobody is saying a being beyond our comprehension "definitely does not exist." Just that the bullshit a bunch of cultists made up 2000 years ago is definitely unprovable horseshit.

>something beyond human comprehension
>trying to understand it

why would God not make himself known to his creations?

Why would he, he does not work by our standards, because he is 'beyond human comprehension'. If he was human maybe he would, but he isn't.

yes. For the most part it follows the book, including the ending

A: Why is God sexed?
B: Why not?
C: Do you seriously not see how this is logical dogshit?

Pulp Fiction

maybe not a masterpiece, but a really clever little comedy with very dry humor

Just watched. Pretty darn good famila.

>applying your own arbitrary standards to a timeless, omniscient deity

are you baiting?

Such a fun film

watch it then kys pls

...

Politics aside, great Serb-kino

wow... really made me-me thonk

Does she get EELED?

>roon
>modern cowboys
>dat texas landscape

...

>Dude I missed the point of the movie LMAO

>he doesn't have purpose in life
>thinks God is required for said purpose
Just end it now retard, you'll never get it.

...

...

...

This is shit.

As far as I'm concerned, the most beautiful movie of the last ten or so years.

...

The movie was shit.

I enjoyed the book. was the movie as good?

I really liked that film too. It was everything I wanted Susperia to be.

That scene where the main character dies over and over again really fucked with me.

definitely a masterpiece. amer too. they got a new film coming out soon. hype desu.

If you liked it and haven't already, do check out Amer. It's their first movie, not as much Suspiria as it is a "modernization" of Argento's first movies/aesthetics.

I've been waiting for Laissez Bronzer Les Cadavres for the last year or so - I hope against hope there'll be a way to catch a preview screening before I'll need to leave Belgium in September.

One of my favourites, the soundtrack, the actors, the plot, the setting, all great.

Carlyle is one hell of a villain.

Arguably one of the funniest, most hyperkinetic movies to have ever been filmed.

...

...

...

>dude le human condition lmao
Maybe don't call your movie Monsters faggot

Hell of a poster. I think I could completely hate the movie and still not feel short-changed.

I hope IKG will be better.

>hyperkinetic

depression kino at the highest

for me it was more a great romance with alien background.
The feels were deep if you ever lived a situation like this, without the ayy of course.

...

very well filmed
