I try to make sure all POCs I come into contact with (and I go out of my way to encourage better integration) know that I'm cognizant of my white privilege and that even though there's nothing I can do to make the game fair, I understand their struggle and that they're unfairly disadvantaged because they weren't born with the same skin color as myself.
However I don't think I'm doing enough to tip the balance and offer to POCs some of the benefits they rightfully deserve to make up for having been oppressed for so long by white hegemonic powers and institutional racism. I'm voting for Hillary this November because I believe she will grant amnesty to millions of undocumented Americans so that they are able to stay united with their families and reap the benefits we white people have denied to them while keeping them under the thumb of oppression for so long now. I would like to see all currently undocumented Americans being able to get things like SNAP and rental assistance, and for children to get a top quality education here as it is a basic human right.
Are there any ways I could do more to fight for true equality in the western world? I know my voice is more likely to be heard since I am a part of the white male ruling class so I want to do as much as I can.
What's the point? We're going to get blown out at the debates, and Hillary's events are being cancelled left and right because nobody wants to go to them. I hate to say it guys but I think we're fucked, nobody cares enough to support her and when wikileaks and Russia drop the next round of bullshit everyone's only going to see one side of the story. There's nothing but losses ahead for us, let's just give up now and save ourselves the embarrassment.
