How did he easily walk right into Sheev's main office completely unmolested? He nearly even defeated him. Why didn't he and Obi-Wan simply try again to take on the Emperor together, if it was that easy to get to him and Yoda very nearly beat him 1v1 the first time?

because the script called for an over the top unrealistic 12 minute corny sword fight between obi wan and anakin

didn't you see the movie?

-That makes too much sense. The Jedi in the prequels weren't known for making wise decisions, ironically enough.
-Palpatine can't be defeated yet, as he appears in the OT

because someone needed to kill anakin. if they had gone to kill anakin together first then palpatine would have had time to do some machinations because he would have been able to sense it because of his higher midichlorian count than yoda and obi wan. even though obi-wan has a lower midichlorian count than anakin (27000 to 14000), he is more skilled in the force and should have been able to handle him. Yoda underestimated palpatine's midichlorian count (yoda has 19,000 and palpatine has around 19,500... just a little more). he wasn't expecting it. a fun fact, when ben gave up his life for luke in a new hope, he essentially transferred all his midichlorians to him. luke was the son of padme and anakin and if you average their midichlorians (27,000 and 2,000) you get 14,500. add in obi-wan's 14,000 and now luke has 28,500... 1,500 more than anakin. that, essentially, makes luke the most powerful jedi of all time.

Sheev used Yoda's overconfidence against him. It's why Yoda was blown back by his force lightning, because he wasn't expecting it. Besides, Sheev no doubt knew that Yoda could easily take down whatever clones/guards he sent against him, so what was the point when he could just kill Yoda himself and catch him off guard?

Padme was going to see Anakin and Obi-Wan was worried that Anakin might kill her or convince her to turn to the dark side. I also assume because Obi-Wan thought that he and Padme would be able to convince Anakin to change his ways before it was too late.

Is this shit from those autists on wookiepedia?

>or convince her to turn to the dark side

Anakin explicitly tells Padme that he's stronger than the Emperor and that they could rule the galaxy together once he killed him.

no thats just a faggot posting garbage

No, that's not how midichlorians work. Midichlorians don't produce force sensitivity, they're just a sign that you're force sensitive.

Why didn't they send Obi-wan to defend the wookies from the droid attack, though?

this is now a supershadow thread. spoilers away!

Normal people don't turn to the dark side

he wasn't up to the challenge

If Padme had agreed to rule the galaxy with him, then their kids would have most likely also become Sith. You don't want the children of the fucking Chosen One becoming Sith Lords and ruling the galaxy with an iron fist.

that has nothing to do with what you said

that's not how siths work. there's always two of them. there can't be more than two of them. there can't be fewer than two of them. it's the rule of two. luke and leia are already two. if you add anakin that makes three and that goes against the rule of two which is a steadfast rule even the most ardent siths abide by. even yoda says there are only two in the attack of the clones at the end with the cruisers going up. "always two never more never less" to mace windu. youtube.com/watch?v=a3TZey2dtho

Yes it does, you raging autist. If Anakin had succeeded in seducing Padme to join him then he would have no doubt raised his children to become Sith Lords just like him, meaning they would be next in line to rule the galaxy once he died.

Then he would have raised his kids and had them fight to the death one day to prove who is more powerful, then after that one day the winner would have no doubt killed Anakin one day and take over the galaxy. Either way, you don't want a corrupted Chosen One to rule the galaxy with an iron fist.

i don't think you understand the rule of two. you can't have kids and be a sith lord hoping to raise them into siths. plus if you have them fight then you'd be an awful father. it's conflicts like that that made anakin turn to the dark side.. you can't even be a sith apprentice. it's a rule that every sith has to abide by. think about it. if you have two kids and they kill each other how can you be a good father and make them become siths. plus if they're not siths then you'll have to kill them. also you're not thinking about the fact that palpatine would know that anakin has two kids. that makes four total siths. that's twice too many than the rule of two allows. remember there can only be a master and an apprentice. if there are two groups then the secrecy goes out and they will fight and cause an imbalance

>"that's not how hands work, they don't pick up thing, they're just a sign you can pick things up"

LOL

Palpatine probably issued orders to let him through. Yoda likely didn't think Sheev would be so hard to kill. He did cite the Jedi for arrogance earlier in the movie.

a scene that was cut post production was right after he had taken control of the jedi temple and killed the younglings was anakin getting ass blasted by the the emporer and saying being gay was the will of the force

Yoda wasn't the hard part, killing the Windu was the hard part. He needed Anakins help for that but he didn't need Anakin for Yoda. He just needed to pin an assassination attempt on the Jedi. So he let Yoda through.

also the Royal Guard protects Sheev. The Royal Guard are fucking Elite Mandalorians. You don't throw guys like that away even if you are an edgy Sith Lord.

When Sheev plotted to have Anakin fall and take over as his apprentice, how was he going to explain that all the Jedi were evil and tried to kill him, but hey, here's Anakin Skywalker, one of their best, and he's my best bud now?

If Obi-Wan hadn't flash fried him and put him in a disguise full-body suit everyone'd know it was a lie about the Jedi being all evil.

I could beat NES Contra without the cheat code. But only in single player mode. If a friend joined, it fucked everything up. That's what fighting Sheev must be like.

He and Obi-Wan had to fight their way into the building....don't you remember?

Why did Sheev build a Death Star if he had perfect foresight and could see the future, but didn't see getting his bitch ass thrown down a well and all his toys broken?

not even close to an accurate comparison

2 vs 1 sounds easy but it's not like it worked well for qui gon and obi vs maul

that was the jedi temple

>How did he easily walk right into Sheev's main office completely unmolested?
That's a story for another time.
