Describe his character arc

Describe his character arc.

Super

>super, man

Batman

He refuses to rape Lex Luthor.

Struggling with the application of his powers in an authoritarian vs libertarian sense. Should security or freedom be most important? What is the happy medium between the two? Does he or anyone have the right to determine what is or isn't just? And can he operate outside of the established system if he feels the ends will justify the means simply because he can?

In the end he never truly finds this answer, but he continues to strive to fight for those who cannot and in a capacity that allows him to coexist with more conventional forms of authority without truly bowing to them and their sensibilities.

The super struggle super continues.

>was going to be dead.
now he ain't.

Being that it is Father's Day this weekend in North America AND because it's an excellent summary of his arc:

>pic related

>We will never get another Fleischer style wartime Superman animated film because it would be considered racist or jingoistic by the social justice crowed.
Why Live?

...

>CRISIS! METEOR APPROACHING EARTH! WHO WILL PROTECT US!?
>Superman moves planet out of orbit
>Meteor misses
>planet being moved immediately forgotten
