ITT: Scenes you never understood as a kid

ITT: Scenes you never understood as a kid

When you control the mail, you control...information.

nobody cares

As a kid I never realised how innovative Alejandro's take on chili was

...

never realized he was just drunk

>why are they acting so weird all of a sudden?

Sneed's Seed & Feed

it all makes sense now.....shut it down

WHY DID HE PUT FUCKING BARBASOL ON THE PIE I DON'T UNDERSTAND

>not thinking barbasol was whipped cream.

nice hat, what are you supposed to be a secret agent?

Fuck when I was a kid all I could think about was damn that whipped cream looks good. It wasn't until I was an adult I realized it was fucking shaving cream.

bane

same

I've always used Barbasol because of this mind fuck of product placement. I hate life.

SQUEEEEEAK

kek

Every scene that wasn't action

It's ok tho. Barbasol is the patrician choice. It's the cheapest stuff and it works as good as anything else.

that scene in Ace Ventura Pet Detective where this lady can't pay him and sucks his dick instead

i have no idea what i thought was happening when i was a kid

FPBP

kek

lol nice

pretty much this. i love barbasol!!

I never quite understood the ending of Primer when I was a child.

I saw it as an adult and I didn't understand either.
Maybe I should look it up now.

Holy shit

Kinda makes Ben look like an asswhole

When I saw The Mask as I kid, I thought he pulled out a shitty balloon when it was actually a condom.

>IvegotajetstandingbyatChoteau!

What does it mean??

>Brain wipes a dude for offering him death sticks
>Chops off a dude's arm for being tipsy at a bar

Obi xXxstraightedgexXx Kenobi

i cannot remember ever being confused by anything. i was either really smart or really retarded

I didn't understand the significance of this scene or of this character at all

The references in Forest Gump (like how he gave John Lennon the lyrics to Imagine, or how he was the caller in the Watergate Hotel) go over your head when you're a kid, and then when you're an adult you understand them but they come across as cringey.

hammond
madman
mammond
hadman
madmond
hadmand
madmand
hammand
madman
hammond

the cycle repeats itself
through itself
by itself

forever.

>Obi xXxstraightedgexXx Kenobi

Is Obi Wan Kenobi a Japanese name?

she pooped her pants without wearing a diaper?
how embarrassing

He fucking pulled a gun on them

?

What am I looking at?

Me too. And always the red and blue can.

What was he attemting to do? Was he trying to steal the dinosaur DNA?

barbasol ftw tho

The entire Mr. DNA video. Nine year old me could have gone and taken a quick shit and not missed anything.

WTF, she shit her pants?

Sure he did, George.

Real whipped cream doesn't even look half as good as that shaving cream.

I was legit thinking it's either shit or hemorrhoids

i thought the same

LACES OUT

how would hemorrhoids cross your childhood mind? also how fucking stupid are you that you can't follow what they're talking about when they spend multiple scenes explains she's a he?

GATTACA GATTACA GATTACA

>GATTACA GATTACA GATTACA

...

What is it about the barbasol can that seems so /comfy/ and nostalgic? It's so odd but everything about it is perfect, the locking mechanism, the way the vials spring up and make that chhhh sound.

Why was President Trump in Home Alone and nobody gave a shit or even knew who he was?

looks like an upside down dick

did she tuck it?

also what the fuck film is this

Sean Young was so hot in the late 80s/early 90s. Shame she isn't cast in anything anymore, she's still MILFy attractive.

She wouldn't fuck a bunch of jew directors, so they started claiming that she was crazy.

Haha, I thought I was the only one

Kind of related to the thread but at some point about 10 years ago I realized how common drugs are in media, specially movies, however I have no memory of them from when I was a kid, even movies and series that I knew I had watched the drug scenes where suspiciously abcent from my memory and then I realized that my mom always changed the channel during sex and/or drugs... for some reason she seemed to have to problem with violence tough.

What pissed me off was not the censorship itself, was the fact that the meme was real, fuck.

>the lyrics to Imagine
i literally never knew this until this very moment.

that was before the media made him into a monster that evokes a pavlovian response in people

your opinions are not yours anymore

why are there two posts that are the same with the same # of replies?

>your opinions are not yours anymore
as if this hasn't always been the case
