I HAVE SUCH TITS TO SHOW YOU

Well, thats pretty much something that was done in the comics.
It was Kirsty Cotton.

I was already hard during the Hellraiser series. This just makes it better

Well, the original story had a female Pinhead.

Also, why didn't she paint her hands white?

>reboot

Movies finally getting it right that women are here to make men's life a living hell. Thank you based Donald.

I want my pain to be administered via BDSM

>Well, the original story had a female Pinhead.

What?

Honestly, Hellraiser is the one franchise that could do with a reboot since it got fucked right at the beginning.

you forgot to add : she gonna be black

My penis is ready to be tear apart.

Blaze'd

>the hellraiser reboot
Sadly never fucking happening. I'm pretty sure that thing has gone through 10 directors and 20 writers by now.

It didn't. He's got things mixed up. The Hellbound Heart is a solid as shit short story though. I should re-read it.

>mfw

Pinhead is technically OC for the movies. The original novella had a "lead cenobite" (also the name of Pinhead in the first movie) who spoke with a female-sounding voice, but that's about it.

And it was not very good

>those tits

well, I'm sold... Is she Kat Dennings? Looks like her

Sexy. I like the one with the vagina throat though

>The Hellbound Heart is a solid as shit short story though.
it's also different as shit from the movie.

U mean reboob

iirc the original story had the leader, but was never referenced by name and the pinhead name was a fan name that stuck

The cenobites, including pinhead, were supposed to be sexless. Pinhead is in the novella, but is second behind another one. The original design for the head cenobite was probably too much to do on their budget, so they just adapted the chains and whatnot to pinhead.

Julia and the Doctor were supposed to be the big bads of the series, but they quit.

>antagonist

Whatever, if she looks like that I'll be jay owen front row center

I haven't read it in like 15 years (just downloaded a pdf and was gonna start reading it again now) but I remember it being pretty 1:1 since Clive Barker wrote and directed the movie too only a year or so after he wrote the story.
I just remember it being way more sexual and about BDSM and stuff wheres the movie was more just horror.

I'm okay with this.

The Road Below was pretty decent.

The Hellraiser comics in general they did... shit.

So?

Of course it will, she'll need to be black as well, so the make-up artists had best whip out the charcoal or coco powder or whatever it is they use for that.

>tfw no bdsm hellraiser porn parody

I'd rather have a new IP than something rehashed.

I don't think Hellraiser deserves to be redone.

There's next to no R34 of it either,

chan.sankakucomplex.com/post/show/4970009

Can you imagine how fucking bad a Hellraiser reboot would be? Completely neutered, gore and weird shit isn't in vogue for successful horror movies, it's ghosts and spooky longface. The cenobites aren't even really the antagonists, Frank and Julia were the ones killing people and doing shit, the cenobites were a weird background element driving it.

Here's the basic plot for Hellraiser reboot: girl solves puzzle box in daddy's attic after the funeral and his haunted by the terrifying spectres of the cenobites who are trying to kill her and only the messages from the tormented ghost of her father can help her escape their clutches. No moral ambiguity, no pleasure/pain BDSM stuff, just murder ghosts. Holy shit, imagine the level of fucking quipping from Pinhead, everyone knows those great lines from the original, quipify them and BAM sell it.

Well, it's not like you have to watch it, user.

I rather it be a normal porn parody with light bdsm

>light bdsm
why?

>Angels to some
>Demons to others
>Lephrechauns to a wee few

This was a trailer that actually got me excited for a new Hellraiser:

youtube.com/watch?v=p5vRJeHGtgo

Clive Barker being a literal faggot didn't like it and wrote the Scarlet Gospels which ended up being fucking awful.

Clive Barker has that story he wrote, Tortured Souls, and did nothing with it besides the Todd McFarlane toys (though there were always talks of an animated adaptation). That's basically Hellraiser 2.0 so maybe they could give that a shot instead of yet another Hellraiser.

The old anthology series had a couple GOAT stories in it. But yeah, this lastest once which was supposedly co-created by Barker kinda went to shit.

Premise is interesting, though, Kirsty and other survivors hunting down boxes and stuff while Pinhead plots his own shit.

Hellraiser Judgement is still happening though. I'm pretty sure Clive the homo pissed away the rights to Hellraiser some 30 years ago.

and I actually liked the comics up until they went insane with the Kristy pinhead stuff. All the different "boxes" holding different dimensions of demons. Cool shit.

Has any other horror franchise gotten fucked over as hard as Hellraiser? After 3 flopped they should've let it rest in peace but instead they've spent the last 21 years making awful direct-to-video movies. The saddest thing is Clive Barker wants to do a remake of Hellraiser that would be full of practical effects but the retards who own the rights would rather continue to churn out direct-to-video shit.

I feel like it came up again with the Evil Dead remake which made a fuck ton of money, was a remake, violent as piss, practical effects and people and critics liked it. But it all kinda went away before anyone else jumped on that train.

I would love to see some studio to take a chance with Hellraiser. If horror audiences can turn the bullshit ghost from Paranormal Activity (shit movies) and the doll from The Conjuring (great movie) into franchises and modern horror icons then they're probably ready to embrace a new Pinhead too.

>no pins on the tits
Not a fan of the movies, didn't even saw the movies, didn't even know it was based on a book or comics or whatever, but that's a missed one.

It's just some cosplayer.

2 is where it got screwed up. The actors quit the franchise. 3 was an attempt to sort of reboot. I didn't think it was that bad.

Have to agree about the subsequent ones, though.

Evil Dead 2013 was horrible after the first sequence.

After Scarlet Gospels, I don't want Barker anywhere near a remake.

worse then

>Please, no fapping. It's a waste of good semen!

>gore and weird shit isn't in vogue for successful horror movies
But we like that stuff. Seems they are missing out on a potential market.

>woman plays the antagonist

Finally a quality film. Just lime real life.

>Scarlet Gospels
I was looking forward to that book for actual years of my life, and it was just okay.

Who here watched the movies as a kid and it still gets them nightmare, this was the only horror film to really get to me even this day
>That scene where the cute girl gets her skin ripped off, and pinhead says ''i wonder if you have good taste''

I never bothered to read it after hearing everyone tear its soul apart. Neat Pinhead painting on the cover though.

mmm

Pintits please

I'm going to see it just for this semen demon

WOMEN. OUT!!! RRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

no it isn't, it has a few character differences (eg: Kirsty is just a friend of Larry rather than her daughter) but the plot is the same otherwise.

Movie should be called Dickraiser

was originally a woman in the book you faggot

no it wasn't, they were sexless, and pinhead wasn't the main antagonist either.

was the Hobo Dragon in the book?? he sucked in the movie. Should have just been a guy obsessed with getting back into the BDSM Dimension

How did the book end??? I assume not with the girl running around using the Rubix Cube like a laser to shoot some monsters.

motherfucker i read through 59 comments to make sure i was being original

The ceiling monster thing was an original creation of the movie. Also something about her wanting to find a different rubix cube that has Larry's soul in it.

Underrated

>NAW Y'ALLS CAN'TS TOUCH MAH PEEUNZ, WHITE GURL

Pretty much the same way with the characters fates but she holds onto the box in the end and sees Frank and Julia's faces reflected, pretty much confirming their trapped with pinhead now.

Because she doesn't see Rory's face, she assumes he's in like some "paradise" dimension heaven and tries to find the box to open that dimension

how about no bdsm because it's for plebs.

Don't they literally go into his origins in like second film or something,

He's like a WW1 Corporal or something and she finds a picture of him. You even get to see the "pinning" scene

...

oh it is time to raise some hell alright.

>o-one ticket to dickraiser pls .-.

I don't understand this opinion. The original film is an extremely inventive and creative horror tragedy, which tells a story that makes sense.

It is also one of the rare features to have been directed by the /guy who wrote the original prose work, and adapted his own work to the screen-shortly after having completed the former/. It is thus impossible to say that "the author's vision was mishandled by the filmmakers."

It is true that the budget is slight, and there are gaffes (you can see a grip's feet pushing the Engineer model), but they made an absolutely fantastic feature for /one million dollars in 1980s money/. So basically fucking nothing, and they get a horror classic with great makeup effects, a new mythology, and a real family tragedy all in one package. It's like, what the fuck do you want - more capeshit?

The original iteration of Hellraiser (the first two flicks, anyway) did exactly what they set out to do, and they did it very, very well with the resources available. It's legitimate to complain about later installments, but not the beginnings. Not at all.

Hellraiser in development hell

Surrealism is no match to the mudane reality

I tend to agree with this. Only a few problems with the movie really, otherwise its a classic of 80s horror.
Could have had a better ending...seemed like something the studio wanted (have the girl run around using Rubix Cube as a laser)

Girl Hellraiser could work if she was still largely sexless (not showing off huge tits). More androgynous

no one has a problem with this

Can Pinhead be black???
I don't mean to be racist but I thought Pinhead is supposed to be a pale English guy from World War I, with all those usual tropes of white man driven mad by wars

If he is an ex-slave revenging for lynching I would confuse the whole franchise with something else

Hellraiser got fucked with the 3rd. After that I watched the rest because they were hilarious horror shlock.

Agreed. The original is great and doesn't deserve what they have been doing with the reboots lately

Why do you skip her and talk about a female Pinhead?
Don't you like the female Cenobite???

The female cenobite

Because its a remake.

Things I like from the first film:

She is the first cenobite to appear on the big screen.

In the coda, the box is being sold to a silhoueted figure, a new sucker/customer. Comparing this silhouette with the light-skinned black doctor who gives the box back to Kirsty at the film's midpoint, I like to believe that this doctor and "the new customer" are one and the same. He had the box in his personal possession just long enough to get curious about it, after all...

FURTHER: In the sequel, "help me" written with human tissue (blood) is repeated as a meme. Other films with "help me" written using human body parts somehow include The Exorcist and Se7en.

I like how the two women in the first movie we're disgusted by human tissues but in the second movie they are all very used to it

>The Hellraiser comics in general they did... shit.

they desperately wanted to be Sandman, but they didn't have Neil Gaiman or his artists, so instead they made all of the beginner's mistakes DC and Marvel wannabes make. word balloons for the character telling us what they're doing in the middle of a fight, because the picture doesn't give us enough information ("unh! legs.. on fire... must .. piss them out!")

he means a female cenobyte
there were four; pinhead, some fat guy, another i don't remember, and a woman

TIME TO PLAY with yourselves

> has never been whipped while going down on a woman
>
>
>
> has never been closer than ten feet to an actual woman

>there were four; pinhead, some fat guy, another i don't remember, and a woman

The Chatterer. the actor who played him wrote a short story called "Look, see.." that described the Chatterer's origin. he used to be a comedian.

THICC

That's pretty cool.

The original chatter look was better than in II -- though I do love II.

Underrated.

Yes, the chatterer costume has reduced quality in the second film, because /we can see his eyes/, and his features are smoother and more "worldly". The blind creature of the original, bathed in otherworldly light, is far more disturbing - /this/ is the thing that puts its digits down Kirsty's mouth, restraining her?!?! I'd panic too.

The "no eyes=creepy" trope was obviously used earlier in Alien, among other things.

"Pinhead" did not become a name until later. The two characters with dialogue, (and who are the only two to appear in the film's opening moments, to set up that Shit Is Real while the story unfolds) are simply identified as "Lead Cenobite" and "Female Cenobite" in the credits.

Cool, I didn't know that! I like the idea of a minor actor taking ownership of his character to the point of writing a fanfic. IIRC the character was a very unlucky kid but now I'm curious about his treatment of his character.

The first Hellraiser was good, but the second one was pure kino.
