Two and a half hours of a boring police investigation

who thought this was a good idea?

You are the sort of pleb that killed this genre and those similar.

Detective/Journalist and Paranoid investigation films are some of the most enjoyable around, yet one of the emptiest genre sets.

not the general viewing public, that's for sure

they're enjoyable but nothing really happens

>didn't even catch the guy
Waste of time

Is the Zodiac poster supposed to look like a torso with bleeding pecs?

I can never tell if it's intentional or not

I think its just a bridge, you weirdo

What are some films similar to this?

Stick to capeshit kid.

Fuck you nigger, Ironman is probably more your thing if you find this boring. Zodiac is an amazing film

Almost all Fincher movies have the same central theme about sociopathic manchildren.

memories of murder

I was well informed on the subject and i still enjoyed the fuck out of this.

Zodiac pls.

Capes and quips.

Soon all movies will be Filipinos punching themselves in the face before setting fire to cats. Don't ask me why.

My absolute negro

What did you faggots like about it the most?

How did nothing happen? Did you even watch the damn thing?

>What did you faggots like about it the most?

if you see it as movie about Graysmith and people who get obsessed with trying to solve cases it's literally a 10/10 movie

shit bait

This. Now we only have capeshit. I wish this sort of trillers make comeback

The consuming obsession this case induced was depicted nicely in the film. Even though it's a generic opinion, I also really liked the lake scene which was actually terrifying. Imagine being that young couple on a nice sunny day only to see some masked fag tie you and later stab you to death while making you watch your love one die in sheer agony.

Let me guess, you like action movies and capeshit, right?

The CGI is really well done, as usual with fincher

He tends to implement a lot of it, but manages to make it not so noticeable which is something I also really like about him.

This is now a kino consuming investigation thread

Detective
>Zodiac
>Seven
>Memories of Murder
>Narc
>The French Connection
>LA Confidential

Journalist/PI/Civilian
>All the Presidents Men
>Chinatown
>Maltese Falcon
>Klute
>Z
>Rear Window

>Three Days of the Condor

Paranoid

>The Conversation

What else?

Also 1991's Homicide under Detective.

You forgot nightcrawler

Add Gone Baby Gone, very underrated.

Because it was a true story and real life isn;t like your kinos

i liked the fact they used a blend of all the suspects actors voices when we heard zodiac talk

thanks, user.

Me. I loved every second of it.

>Z

dude fuck yes, one of the best

A Beautiful Mind is a clever look at it too imo

>Z

Based Mikis and Gavras.

God bless Lambrakis.

>OP using the usual "boring" or "nothing happens" meaningless comment as an argument

why did OP think that was a good idea?

You just described The Big Lebowski

I'm going ask why.
Why?

Or, in Gone Girls case, sociopathic womenchildren

>2 hours of detective work in dark scenes where you can barely see anything at all
>detectives don't even figure anything out
>entire movie boils down to one overacted meme scene at the end
