So now that the dust has settled, X-Men Apocalypse has come out and been panned by everyone (it has a lower Rotten Tomatoes score than X-Men the Last Stand, Man of Steel, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2). It's the second lowest X-Men movie just above Wolverine Origins.
Meanwhile, Deadpool is loved by everyone and breaking records.

Get someone who actually likes and respects the X-Men to make the movies. Deadpool was good because it's made by people who actually like and respect Deadpool. X-Men Apocalypse is made by Singer, who hates comic books. He even told his actors not to read the comics before. He considers himself better than Morrison and Claremont. He takes more from the Matrix movies than the X-Men source. He thinks Rolan Emmerich/MoS destruction porn is still cool. And he can't write good female characters to save himself.
Fox really needs fresh blood for the X-Men movies.
Fox should stop raping the X-Men and just give the rights back to Marvel.
That way we can have Wolverine and Captain America teaming up in WW2.

To be kino must have artistic merit. Comic book accuracy is irrelevant. True kino is for example Hulk 2003, X2 and SM2.

Considering in the comics is Xavier the one who gets turned on by underage Jean I see no issue with this.
Cyclops is a complete scrub and could hold off himself good enough. He literally had a few days at the school and probably less than one week since discovering his powers. Again, no issue with that. It makes sense for Scott not to know how to fight.
The action scenes at least had weight. The airport scene was literally 15 minutes of nothing happens. Nightcrawler fucks Angel up really quick in both encounters. Its how a superpowered fight should be. With consequences. Doesnt help that CW fights look like tv tier. Singer at least knows the basics of film making and film language. Everything is framed better, lighten up better, paced better in X-men fights.
