Are any 2D Disney movies better than the absolute masterpiece that is Aladdin?

Are any 2D Disney movies better than the absolute masterpiece that is Aladdin?

Plenty.

Lilo & Stitch.

tarzan? hunchback of notre dame?
most of the early reinassance films have subpar animation

go watch tlittle ermaid and beauty and the beast and except for some cuts animation is quite bad

Alice in Wonderland

not sure what you're trying to say here, Aladdin has better animation than everything you named, let alone the better story, better songs, and better voice acting

Nope. Nada. No way. Not a chance. Stitch was crap, only 90s kids thought it was any good.

Maybe.

The Lion King.

The Frozen of it's time, Hugely successful, but also hugely overrated.

>Lilo and Stitch sucks
>Treasure Planet is good
You can't be this retarded, right?

>Hunchback is Bad
>Little Mermaid is Good
>Hercules is only Okay

>Fantasia 2000 - Good
>Hunchback - bad
>Lilo and Stitch - bad

Samefag

No, you're wrong.

>Hercules
>Tarzan
>Mulan

Mulan, but that's it. Aladdin is pretty damn good

>>Hercules is only Okay
Hercules has two really good songs. The rest of it is pretty dire

>Chicken Little
>Brother Bear
>Lilo and Stitch
>Bad

>Hercules
>Big Hero Six
>Fox and the Hound
>Okay

Better Template

Chicken Little and Brother Bear are pretty shit though, the only good thing about Chicken Little though is the opening song.

>Chicken Little
>anything but shit
And you think anyone is supposed to take your post seriously?

Lilo and Stitch is weird, because I was way more interested in Lilo's story BEFORE the wacky alien bullshit started. It was actually a story about a young girl dealing with grief while her older sister struggles to provide her the care she needs.

Then AAAAAALIENS happen and it all turns into a bunch of bullshit.

What is it with people who normally don't like Disney movies, but like Mulan? What is the appeal about it that differs so greatly from other Disney movies? What does it have to offer that the others do not?

Hercules is pretty bad desu

with the exception of hades

you are right, they are all bad.

It's like they were trying to rip off the Iron Giant but got it wrong.

Hercules is incredible

Hercules's only flaw is no villain song

that monster he fights has not aged well at all

I don't trust people who didn't like the 2011 Winnie the Pooh

Stop with the denial you inbred fuck, you post is the worst shit posted in this board in a looong way

>Lion King
>Hercules
>ENG
>Okay

>The Black Cauldron
>Hunchback
>Lilo and Stitch
>Meet The Robinsons
>Bad

>No villain song.
I'm sorry, do you assume that a song about the villain doesn't count?

The Hydra is still scary-ass shit though. At least scarier than shit like that shitty version of the Ice Titan from Frozen or Zootopia's wild predators.

lowest amount of romantic subplot, maybe?

Aladdin/Hercules/Lion King/Mulan are all my favorites

Does it matter?

Looking back at it, it was like watching Sandnigger Culture Done in a LasVegas show style

I like Hercules more

>Saved China
Mongols still take over anyway

Their Superman movie was way better.

>being this wrong

and all the lovers crumble to dust and bones anyway, what's your point

Hercules and The Emperor's New Groove.

>MFW Hercules was a much better "superhero" movie than weeaboo Incredibles/How to Train Your Dragon.

No, it doesn't.

Great. Still a fantastic movie.

Hercules!

>Hercules was a better superhero movie than the Incredibles
>Hercules was a better movie than the Incredibles
>Incredibles is weeaboo

No,no, what he meant was "weeaboo Incredibles" a.k.a Big Hero 6.

Big Hero 6 ya moron.

Yes

>Chose to stay as frogs for love

Er... no they didn't, they ran out of time, she tried to kiss him and it didn't work. They got together as frogs after realizing they couldn't be human again and turned back.

ah

Hercules is a sports movie dummy.

censored commercialized adaptation of an influentia-but-not-all-that-great story

Aladdin has a rushed ending and shit animation.

different artstyle?

Don't worry lad I interpreted it the same way

James Woods as Hades automatically makes Hercules a good movie

Their children carry on a legacy though.

A rushed ending? What the fuck else did you want to see after Jafar's defeat? Genie takes off and there's no time for a wedding, which is for the best because we got decent sequels out of it.

Also saying the animation is shit is objectively fucking wrong.

I hated Lilo and Stitch. God all the characters have punchable faces.

In most of these movies, the prince/dude was just as much of a hopeless romantic, but he never gets shit for it. That's the corniest shitfuck a guy can do.

Seriously, Naveen looks like a fucking dork. Tiana made him a better person mentally, it was her normal personality that he fell over. She wasn't even trying to impress that douche yet she still undouched him.
He fell in love with Belle for similar reason as Naveen, but Beast looks like a homo as a human, he should've stayed an animal.
Charming was sick of his Dads shit and only ended up with Cindy because his Dad was able to get so many damn women into the place that they managed to find the one girl who just wanted to have a nice night out and wasn't thirsty as fuck.
Eric, John Smith and whatshisname from Snow White are boring. Shit, at least you can talk about the girls. Those dudes are about as exciting as watching paint drying. They're just these masculine blank slates that fall in love with the protagonists.
Flynns a fruitcup. I'm surprised Rapunzel made his dick twitch.

Aladdin and Phillip are the only cool dudes.

There's so much wrong here yet it's close enough to make disagreement difficult.

>Aristocats
>Black Cauldron
>Hunchback

>Bad instead of Okay

>Lilo & Stitch
>Meet the Robinsons

>Bad instead of Good

>Princess & the Frog
>Little Mermaid

>Good instead of Okay

>Lion King
>Dumbo

>Okay instead of Good

Get off my planet.

I'd say the Great Mouse Detective, but its use of CG puts it out of the running.

...

>Lion King
>Hercules
>Emperor's New Groove
>Only Okay
Consider suicide

>Hunchback of Notre Dame
>Bad
Terminate your life immediately cunt.

Hercules!

[pix not marked I haven't seen or don't remember]

Nope. Aladdin was the best it ever was, the best it's ever been and the best it ever will be.

...

>hunchback - bad

Haven't seen Zootopia or a couple of the package films so I left those blank.

...

>best female love interest
>some of the best Disney songs of all time
>actually funny
KYS

The gargoyles and Demi Moore ruined Hunchback, and Stitch ruined Lilo and Stitch.

>Hercules
>Saved the gods of Olympus/the world
>Sacrificed his life to save the woman he loved (after she sacrificed her own for his)
>Gave up godhood and his life long dream of being with his family, to stay with the woman he loved.

Truly, the greatest Disney hero.

>some of the best Disney songs of all time
That's some heavy nostalgia talking there. Not saying they're bad songs but you're overrating them a lot.

The only Disney films I give any shits about are Pinocchio, Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland, Sword in the Stone, Jungle Book, Aladdin, Hercules and The Emperor's New Groove.

...

>Mulan, but that's it. Aladdin is pretty damn good

Mulan suffers from the terrible problem that is Mushu.

Imagine making a film set in an African kingdom two thousand years ago—then have Joe Wong voice a character who is a stereotypical modern Chinese-American tourist, and call him "Grape Kool-Aid."

It's hard to put my finger on how weird this is, but

Respectful portrayal of culture A in ancient times
+ stereotypical portrayal of culture B in 1995
+ name of *embarrassingly stereotypical* food from culture A in 1995

It doesn't matter how good Joe Wong's performance is—on some level, you've just trashed both cultures you're trying to show.

Maybe you're not a racist, but you're insensitive as fuck.

>chose a poor guy

yeah, AFTER he'd appeared to her as a prince and lied about himself.

hypergamy is a thing.

>meet the robinsons
>bad
I'm going to cut you and I'm going to cut you in the most painful places possible.

Finally caught that film for the first time the other day, it's amazing. An underated gem. And the songs are wonderful
