GAYCAPAMERICA Opinions on this trend??

opinions on this new trend to give Cap a boyfriend in the MCU?

Sup Forums loves gay shipping and hates SJWs so it's hard to say

Truth.

>implying he doesn't already have one

Its a small but loud minority who dont know anything and just love to hop on the progressive train even if it doesnt make sense or contradicts shit.

literally do not care

i only hear about these things from Sup Forums anyway

My opinion is that I'm so sick of homo-projecting and fed up with a population that can't keep it's genitals in it's pants and has to everything it interacts have to be sexual or validate someone's sexual choices.

Why can't two men be friends? There is nothing wrong with being straight and romance doesn't need to be front and center with every story.

It's only happening because they are hot white males. They wouldn't make Black Panther gay because they this whole thing is about a blushing/embarrassment fetish.

If it didn't happen in the comics it shouldn't happen in the movies. And no, it shouldn't happen in the comics either.

I've been seeing a lot of Black Panther stuff after Civil War was released. I think it has more to do with name recognition.

...

...

why?

Why can't to people of opposite gender be just friends. The answer is obvious people have sex on the brain at all times. Projecting it is impossible.

The thing about gay shipping is that it almost inevitably arises when the characters aren't actually gay, but there's enough ambiguously homoerotic things that occur between them that shipping-inclined viewers can let their perverted imaginations run wild. Just look at Supernatural's shipping community (actually don't, for your own sanity) and their habit of shipping every male character with every other male character, including (especially) the two Winchester brothers.

The second you make it canon instead of teasing the fans is the second things inevitably go completely to shit. I don't trust any writer out there to take gay shipping and make it into reality without it being the most forced and cringeworthy shit ever, especially because it would be pandering to a particularly disgusting part of the fanbase (fujoshi and their Western equivalents). And why should I, when most of the time they can't even write good straight relationships?

And finally, I don't want this to happen for purely ideological reasons. If you give Twitter SJWs such a high profile victory, they will NEVER stop. So long as it remains ineffectual whining on social media it's bearable, but if they're shown that that whining is in fact capable of manipulating the movie industry, shit will get off the fucking rails. Give them an inch and they will take you for everything you've got.

the Japs are drawing a lot of moe Panther, the cat theme I think is the reason behind it

because it's sexy

>And finally, I don't want this to happen for purely ideological reasons.

I think a lot of this is coming from what you described above, as a perverted thing, MASKED as an ideology thing. Because pretending it's about something else is the way the pervert gets what they want.

It's why I'm so opposed to mordern SJW/leftist politics lately because if you notice the fast majority of it turns out to be sexually related. They have sex on the brain all the time and try to pretend they don't but every "issue" they care about is sexually related.

So have we moved on from gay Elsa to Cap now?
Who's next Sup Forums?

...

I'm so sick of people putting apostrophes in possessive pronouns

Haha I take it you haven't heard of T'Chucky.

>Gays are maybe 5% percent of the human pop, very generous guess
>They need representation in EVERYTHING

Stucky is qt

If the MCU actually went through with this, it would lose a whole lot of money & fans. I hate it when the LBGT community tries to make themselves be "represented" by changing stuff that shouldn't be changed.

Or changing things that end up hurting the thing being changed. But hey, someone's LIKE THEM so I guess fuck everyone else's life.

And that's why I'm sick of shit like this, hell it's not even the gays asking for this it's a lot of girls who like gay-shipping-porn too or people who are just pushing their identity politics. And then claiming it's for representation.

So what you're saying is this would kill the MCU? Fucking hell, guys, we need this!

We don't need the story changed just to please LBGT community to make them feel "represented" If they feel so strongly about it then they should create their own heroes and storylines instead of trying to mess with something that doesn't need to be changed.

Hello Panthy.

Why can't characters go from straight to bi rather than flipping to gay? Why can't existing gay superheroes get movie exposure instead of messing with the straight ones?

fujoshits trying to make their ship canon.

Never ever cave to fan demands in your work of fiction, name any time it ended in even a slightly positive way

Nobody gives a fuck about Captain America being gay, they want CHRIS EVANS to make out with a dude and think they're being subtle.

i got banned for asking how a donald trump presidency would effect comics because i wasn't reading anything during the last republican era (too young)

...and THIS shit is allowed to go down?

fuck this place

I know I know, but what I'm saying is that the MCU is shit and we should let them kill it.

Expect the heroes to be less supported by the government and suddenly become more hated.

Is this the Stucky thread? Posting this gem from Captain America Comics #78

>Literally served in war with him.

>Literally a word that meant something completely different then

>Literally the an off handed reference.

>Literally fucking served in war with him, that deserved to be said twice.

Geee, Capdian Merican is da gay?

It's pretty gay.

Only if they make Black Panther white.

Well, Bucky did call Steve "punk" plenty of times during Cap1. In the 1940s that was slang for effeminate gay men.

Is tumblr still pretending this is for being "progressive" and not because they want to see Chris Evans making out with the guy who plays Bucky?

And isn't cap supposed to be older then Bucky? Isn't Bucky like at least In his teens when he becomes his sidekick?

He died around 20 with the Brubaker retcon. He and Steve are pretty much the same age in the comics now.

I know a girl who posted on facebook saying "Cap is bi and so am I #truth".

I really don't think it's that complicated. Cap isn't gay, it's just his best friend.

Brubaker and Humphries ship it, it's not like it's something entirely made up by fangirls.

Wouldn't say they need to be in a romantic relationship, but if their MCU versions shagged, I don't think it would be off-character. They have all the situation building, even many normies agree with it.

No one gives a shit what you want, Cap is a straight irish-catholic boy from the 1930s.

bucky is ugly so no pls no

Because even gay people hate bisluts.

Same people who want this, want Elsa to be with Anna. Sooooooooooo whats that tell ya? Its fetishism.

lesbians > gays >>>>> hetshit

I sure do believe this is about being progressive and not masturbation.

'Give Elsa a girlfriend' and 'give Cap a boyfriend' are the worst kind of masturbatory progressiveness.

>Give Elsa a girlfriend!
>Because being gay is about being ostracised by society and hating yourself!

>Give cap a boyfriend!
>Because men don't have any capacity to care for each other unless they want to fuck!

I hope they get shot by Muslims

I mean, not for nothin, Ellen is he poster child for gay celebrity. It would make sense her character gay. Though I don't think they actually did, did they?

I mostly just want MCU Cap to get laid, I've no strong opinions on who with. Dude deserves some fun.

This is disgusting

I once made a post on tumblr expressing the opinion that wanting StevexBucky to happen in the comics or films was dumb. You can imagine the reactions.

I don't think they should give Cap a boyfriend. I think that if these same people put all this hype into canonically gay heroes (or creating new ones) then that'd be much better.

It's fine if you have a ship, do your thing but forcing it to be canon because whatever is just stupid and wasteful.

also this. Nice dubs.

The fact that they haven't done it sooner makes me think they were responsible for Orlando. Why haven't they done anything?

You can get the same results by saying something good about Sharon Carter.

I'm actually okay with this but only because the girl Cap is actually ending up with is boring as fuck.

As much as I love Cap no homo and as much as I'd hate for it to happen, I'm almost willing to sacrifice the character in the hope that they do it and the back lash is so huge, so deafening that big companies stop bowing down to the demands of SJWs and minorty groups for good.
>RIP in peace, straight Cap

No. Captain American should be asexual and remain pure and untouched forever.

Pure and untouched? The slut's already kissed two women.

I don't mind them making gay characters, but this entire movement is just about getting their ship, Stucky, to happen. It's just parading shipping shit under important issues.

Everyone character should be bisexual to be honest. Something for everyone.

>gay agenda
>important issue

pick only one

>look, ma, I commented!
Fuck fags tho

Probably because some people are so repressed that any inkling of concern for another human being equals wanting to bang them. Stuff like camaraderie, friendship, or familial love are undervalued while romantic love is placed on a pedestal above it all. As if two people not wanting to fuck means they don't care about each other.

It seemed like a terrible idea at first, but compared to making Cap part of Hydra...

>LGBT community
Don't be a fuckin' tool your whole life, we're not behind this. It's the fujoshits every time.

>wonders why people hate faggots

>And finally, I don't want this to happen for purely ideological reasons. If you give Twitter SJWs such a high profile victory, they will NEVER stop. So long as it remains ineffectual whining on social media it's bearable, but if they're shown that that whining is in fact capable of manipulating the movie industry, shit will get off the fucking rails. Give them an inch and they will take you for everything you've got.

See the fact that they cast a white dude as Iron Fist, to the shock and horror of the social media crowd. The actual producers of this stuff know better than to give these people an inch, no matter their wailing and whining. And Marvel has too much investment in the sanctity of these decades-old characters to screw with them too much like that.

Glad to have someone on the inside confirm what I suspected. I wouldn't think that most gay people would actually enjoy or value this sort of immersion-breaking pandering any more than they did the Iceman retcon from last year. I sense that this is mostly straight girls who just want to see gay guys kissing because it's titillating to them.

I think is just queermos trying to make up for Disney making two gay actors play a straight couple.

Though Sgt. Calhoun is 1 dynamite gal.

>I think is just queermos trying to make up for Disney making two gay actors play a straight couple.

Wait, that was ever an issue? How fucking condescending can these people get to assume a gay actor would have any problem whatsoever playing a fucking character that's different to who they are in real life?

100% correct. We have Midnighter and a couple of others and that's cool, stuff like Iceman shits on characters and previous stories, and that should always take precendence. If there is a single gay or bi man who liked the Jean Grey bullshit I would be extremely surprised. It was horrendous.

That said, I would have no problem with Elsa being a lesbian. There wasn't really anything to suggest she was straight yet and it wouldn't hurt anything. Could be interesting.

Yeah, ditto. And likewise, apparently the plan is to reveal that Magik, also in X-Men, is a lesbian. And as someone who's been reading X-Men comics for like thirty years? I'm searching my memory and literally cannot think of a single instance of her ever being attracted to a guy. So I've got no problem with this. It doesn't break immersion because it doesn't conflict with what we understand about the character the way it does with Iceman. Especially in a medium where we as readers are privileged to read the actual literal thoughts of the characters in question, and there hasn't been fifty years of Iceman thinking to himself in thought balloons "I've just got to keep pretending I'm straight so everyone else will be fooled!" It just doesn't fit with established characterization.

I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have your sexuality fetishized in order to pander to a wholly different demographic like that.

There was little to no shipping in the movies.

Well, you know how it is. I'm pretty sure fujos piss everyone off, with the occasional exception of other fujos. Even within their own community though, it's become a dogfight over ships. IT's horrendous the lengths they go to, not only to justify their own tastes but to attempt to paint any others are truly debauched and inherently bigoted. A strange, disappointing life it must be.

Homosexuals shouldn't be culturally appropriating straight culture. By casting gays in straight romantic roles, they make a mockery of an ancient and sacred tradition that's important to hundreds of millions of oppressed people around the globe.

Next nemo movie is about nemo switching genders and breeding with his dad.

GAY

It's just Stucky fans trying to make their ship canon under the guise of wanting representation.

I'm still mourning the loss of Arrow

I think the Stormpilot (Poe/Finn) in Star Wars shows shippers aren't *entirely* racist, even if they do have a noticeable history of ignoring black characters in their ships. And Cap/Falcon & Bucky/Falcon are definitely things now.

But beyond the "they're so hawt!" angle of Stucky, there have now been three movies of Steve repeatedly demonstrating his unyielding love and commitment to Bucky, and Evans & Stan really just click with each other, so the ship is really firmly rooted in the media rather than being crack. If the Black Panther movie gives T'Challa something similar, I'd be all for it as a direction to take the character.

Well, people have been shipping fictional characters since like forever, so no surprises. I personally like Stucky, but wouldn't push it so far. It's cute as a fanfic but that's pretty much it.

It's amazing, really.

When men masturbate over lesbian porn, they stroke their dicks, cum and move on.

When women masturbate over yaoi stuff, they proceed to rally people on the Internet, blabber about Diversity and Progressives non-stop and then start a movement with the intent of changing society worldwide in such a way that they can feel their schlicking habits are retrospectively provided ethic and moral vindications.

Why is that?

>Why is that?
Because historically women have been made to feel ashamed of their sexuality. This expresses itself via the production of yaoi and slashfic (since no female sexuality is present, therefore it is not taboo). Ultimately, it comes down to internalised oppression.

I don't care if Cap is gay I just want Bucky and him to fuck

Cap isn't gay.

All the Tumblr fanblogs giving him a romance with Falcon or Buckey are doing nothing but turning Homosexuality in to a novelty for them to enjoy.

There is a distinct difference between masturbating to Cap and Buck sucking dick and trying to get the company that made those characters to admit that they suck dick.

Homosexuals have a hard enough time being taken seriously without a very vocal group of woman telling them their lifestyle is cute at best.

You are simplifying it too much. There are two separate groups on the female side. Fujoshis just schlick to it while SJWs argue for progressive points. Sometimes fujoshis will use SJW talking points to argue they are morally superior to another group (not just to make something canon, but also in ship vs ship discussion), but they don't actually believe it. It's just ends vs means to get more porn produced. And a lot of SJWs are anti-fujoshi because they see gay fan stuff as sexist against canon female characters+relationships as well as fetishizing a minority in gay men.

>opinions on this new trend to give Cap a boyfriend in the MCU?
>literally the same faggot posting this shit everyday.

>SJWs caring about fetishizing gay men
I don't know which SJWs you've been talking to, being being a FUCKING WHITE MALE is unaffected by sexuality. You know there have been motions to remove 'G' from LGBT for being overprivileged, right?

No, I've seen a lot of them say it's gross but they are probably feigning concern and it's mostly for the reasons you state.

And I bet they were all spearheaded by white woman.

You'd think they'd want to remove the 'B' because all bi's are "overprivileged fake gays" and I'm proud of it.
