Holocaust denial has it's roots in the fact that many depections of what actually happened in the camps were fabricated. They killed millions upon millions in various ways, but the fact that some jews who survived just flat out made shit up in books/interviews triggered the conspiracy theorists, and now we will never fucking hear the end of it from conspiracy theorists and Stormfront types.
Another key component in holocaust denial is plain antisemitism - people who hate jews will jump on any bandwagon they can to discredit or undermine their narrative. The holocaust was used as a reason for a lot of the western powers to support Israel post ww2 - "these people need their own nation so they don't get genocided" is a pretty common belief.

Auschwitz's ashes were dumped into the Vistula. Coincidentally, there is a river near Treblinka too.
And just for the record, Auschwitz had 15 ovens (3 in Krema I, 5 in Krema II, 5 in Krema II, 1 in Krema IV and 1 in Krema 5). The total amount of muffles were 52. 2 bodies can easily fit in 1 muffle, and you can squeeze that of a child's or 2 babies in as well.

Given that over a thousand people fit in Krematorium II's gas chamber (Krema III had identical layout), I would say if all corpses of the chamber were cremated in Krema II's ovens only, then 5 ovens with 3 muffles each = 15 muffles. Stuff 2 adult + 2 infant corpses in = 60 corpses in all muffles at a time. Fire em up, lets say it takes 1 hour for the content of the muffle to be cremated = 1440 corpses a day.

gassings had largely stopped by fall 1944. Krematorium IV was destroyed in the Sonderkommando uprising on October 7th (theres a nice film about it too, called The Grey Zone, watch it). Auschwitz was liberated by the russians on January 27th, 1945. Do the math, smart guy. The Auschwitz survivors are mostly the last batch that arrived. A camp that could house over 100,000 people at a time, you have a couple thousand survivors? Thats a 90% kill rate
