I dropped the Trump red pill on my girlfriend's parents yesterday, it took all of my self control not to sperg out "GAS THE KIKES RACE WAR NOW" when her mom scoffed as I mentioned Hillary's corruption, and said I am voting for Trump.
But I maintained, and laid out the corruption, the facts. When the first response was "How could you support Trump?, I countered with the fact that I don't support Trump, that I have donated hundreds of dollars to Bernie, and Clinton committed massive election fraud, and they made Bernie the sheepdog like Jerry Brown and several others in the past.
Despicable behavior should not be rewarded, and everything we are worried Trump will do, Clinton already has done. NAFTA and the TPP, coincidentally while Obama was pushing for the TPP on CNN while we were talking.
I laid out how this election is globalism vs nationalism, and Trump has been demonized while Clinton gets a free pass. I told them Trump was brilliant, that his over the top xenophobic rhetoric was likely a bet, knowing he could snare the entirety of the proletariat that makes up the base of the GOP. But he isn't a racists, he's a bigot at worst. He's Archie Bunker, not Adolf Hitler.
We talked for about 6 hours, and although they are probably still voting for Hillary out of fear, they know a lot more about the big picture.
The discussion included communism, and how socialist Germany fought the evils of communism, and how I as a union member and classical leftist support Bernie Sanders and our own form of National Socialism.
That calling Trump Hitler is ridiculous, and economically speaking, Bernie is closers to Hitler than Trump. I also brought up the 1%, and if you replaces the 1% with the Jews, Bernie and Hitler are incredibly similar.
Their views were definitely changed, especially because her step-dad is German and 80 years old, and knows how the Germans got fucked after WWI.
It was one of the best conversations I have ever had.
