There's always Girls und Panzer - silly as the concept is, the tank action and directing overcame any reservations I had about it:

I'm probably making this up but I think in some interview or commentary they said the animation team was very new to CGI or something.

Also book 4's budget was slashed.

Hahahaha, what the fuck is this?

I think I'll pass. Regardless of the quality, it's just to "anime" for me.

Gotta agree with you. I don't even like anime, but I love me some tanks, and Girls und Panzer is basically porn for them.

When most media gets even the most basic shit about tanks wrong it's refreshing to see something where they've done their research.

...

do these lolis actually blow each other up or is it all mock tank battles?
the answer to this will greatly impact my interest in watching.

Apparently the projectiles are modified or something, so that impact on the tanks triggers some flags that when raised disqualify them from a match. Stuff still explodes and breaks often, but nobody really dies, the whole thing is treated as a school sport.

...

lame. may still try it out.
thank you for your answer.

...

Clearly the pinnacle of CGI and animation direction.

Is this what I fucking think it is?

Holy shit, I didn't know it was THIS bad.

The focus is on fun.

I'll bet you a hundred bucks you can't find a single panty shot.

Is this
Is this actually from the loli tank show?
Christ, I thought I was watching an edited videogame at first.

Whats the point then?

Sell shit to people who buy anime merch.

You know, I've always avoided GuP. But, fuck it, if an AMV can get me to discover Princess Tutu, that can get me to start watching it. That looked cool as hel

well the cg in GuP looks pretty good
esp compared to LoK

Indulging in history and engineering nerdery while taking into account that in Japan stuff with little girls sells. Ultimately the show still respects its characters and audience, so the nature of its cast isn't really a problem.

>Donald Trump victory speech.

Oh well, it's just a background detail.
It's not like the entire final sequence depended on interacting with a CGI creation with no ability to act or react appropriately.
