The nazis in the 20's and 30's were largely good guys. Applying pragmatic socialism they got their people out of a depression and curtailed runaway inflation. They built large public infrastructure and made one of the strongest economies in the world at the time, out of the complete debacle the previous government had left it in. Applying nationalist pride they stood up for their interests and took back their legitimate rights, the Rhineland, scrapping the Versailles treaty, cleaning the streets of alien communist agitator scum, the Anschluss by popular referendum with Austria and the Sudetanland Germans who were abused and oppressed by the Czechs (much like the Slovaks were). Until this point, this popular, elected Nazi party had managed one of the largest political and economic turnarounds in world history, giving themselves huge advantages for the future and being a blessing to their progeny by protecting their national interests and their economic worries.

Because Jews can't thrive in a homogeneous society where everyone looks out for their countrymen. Germanys economy was fucked after WW1 because not only of its war cost, but the great depression, which hit everyone. And the fact that Germany was dependent on the US for trade, and the US scaled back their trade to nations a lot in the great depression. Again, this is why Hitler was so dead set on Germany becoming totally self sufficient.
And hitlers economy after he took over was too dependent on a military industrial complex. He needed war to survive economically, both because that was how it was set up, AND to achieve his self sufficiency, by taking the resources and colonizing eastern europe

It started way before that, when he moved forces into the Rhineland and France and Britain didnt do anything. He basically saw them as pussies. Thats what his foreign policy was, just bully and bluff until the other side gives you what you want. It was very crude. For example, he tried to get Poland to allow him access to Danzig, but they wouldnt allow it because they saw how Hitler acted. Like a bully who says "let me have a dollar" one day, but the next day says "let me have 2 dollars." So Polish-German Relations fell to shit, so Poland secured an alliance with France and Britain.
So Germany invaded Poland with Russia in 1939 because he didnt expect France or Britain to do anything. Remember, they were push over little pussied who just gave him what he wanted for the past 6 years. And Hitlers blitzkrieg was pretty effective. He had conquered Poland in about a month, same with France, while Russia got annihilated by Finland. Hitler saw an opportunity and expected Russia to be conquered in about 6 weeks, but they held out longer than he expected and got the upper hand.
