It didn't make it into the film. Ki Adi Mundi was suppose to take a group to the droid control ship and shut them down. Then they would reactivate on their own. Lucas was going to bait you with poetry and then switch it up.

What's really dumb about this scene is that they, a group of about 25 jedi, are surrounded by hundreds of droids, and that any of them manage to survive this. I know they're supposed to be highly skilled at deflecting blaster bolts but they aren't moving like they are. They're so slow.
