youtube.com/watch?v=6r-ljw9eyHc

While we're at it, I always liked these ones:
youtube.com/watch?v=2SLvtP6KMUM

youtube.com/watch?v=-fOjJZ4ryq0

I like this one youtube.com/watch?v=Kqf6BhCXwpc
Can't help but notice that they're all war songs.

youtu.be/lHJtTCi1Tv8?t=36s Here's a sad one. Russians sure love their choirs.

Then there's this youtube.com/watch?v=7Yl-DvkX0hY

The Fall of Berlin had a bretty gud soundtrack even if it was an extremely blatant propaganda film youtube.com/watch?v=Etu6Wm2b35A

I'm no gommie but the Bolsheviks had bretty gud music too youtube.com/watch?v=wgdMuxtW0q0

what is historical music?

youtube.com/watch?v=n7gVzTULDPo This one's not really historical, but sounds very much like one.

Music with historical significance. Like if it was popular during wars, revolutions, or important political movements in your country. The one in the OP was from the US Civil War, based on Sherman's March to the Sea, where marched from Atlanta to Savannah and then up through the Carolinas and burned everything in his path, freeing the slaves and giving the south what they were asking for.

Some other US examples:
youtube.com/watch?v=UH01FhqMdc8 FDR's campaign song

youtube.com/watch?v=CRkkoD5tjHg The original (and IMO better) US anthem

youtube.com/watch?v=OvLdawL3wHM A revolutionary war song (yes, I know the tune is from Heart of Oak)

youtube.com/watch?v=3dVMpRfiD0s Another good civil war song

>2nd South Carolina Infantry
>Union lyrics to the Battle Cry of Freedom
wut

youtube.com/watch?v=A5ra9cXx1-o
youtube.com/watch?v=Yu0VzxnXAC8
youtube.com/watch?v=b6hBe-s40q4 Not exactly about US history but it's about a battle a lot of Americans fought and died in

Very old symbolic music / old military marches
I avoid posting Civil Meme War because I'm fucking tired of of the Civil War

youtube.com/watch?v=ox35C6Ua2M8
From the Rif War that lasted 16 years

They were a band from South Carolina who reenacted Civil War music from both sides.

youtube.com/watch?v=EV0jz0kj9s0
How many Americans volunteered in the International Brigades?

youtube.com/watch?v=PEHAqWvRJVg

Lyrics in description. This one relates to Lapua movement which continued fighting against commies after our civil war.

Think around 2800 or so. There were probably Americans in other forces, too, like the CNT, POUM, etc. Most got fucked over when they came back, though. Like they were denied promotions in WWII. There are a few monuments to them around the US, but most of us don't know a thing about it outside of leftist circles or history buffs.

Fuck it. I'm posting Civil War music, I can't really find anything that it isn't the Civil War.

I think yes, because Tuva is part of Russia hence is part of Russian folk
youtube.com/watch?v=PENNBpYPaTQ

I'll admit Alas Rojas is probably the best Republican Spanish War song, the rest literally sound like Andalusian gypsie music.
