My high school class went to see this in the theater when it came out for some reason. What a horrible experience. IIRC it was picked because it was the movie the least likely to trigger people (no gore, no intellectualism, no YA stuff that would enrage boys, no mindless machoism that would enrage girls, nothing scary, etc.).
