GRAYSON ANNUAL #3 STORYTIME

John Constantine, Harley Quinn, Azrael, Simon Baz and Jim Corrigan together to talk about Dick

I love how random this company is.

...

...

...

...

...

Was Spyral able to erase the Spectre's memories? Or is Jim still keeping the Spectre as a separate persona like in his 70s and 80s stuff? I would have thought he would have realized the flaw in that after the big reveal in Gotham by Midnight.

...

that vampire's analogy is so lost on me

It will be explained. Keep reading

Just like my fanfictions!

...

...

This whole annual is one dumb fanfic

...

...

>gun is a construct on one page
>is the real one on the other
ffs colorist if you don't know just ask

...

...

...

He could have just wrapped it in green energy for extra powah

...

Spectre was an entity trapped inside Corrigan's body who comes out when an act of evil is committed, during Gotham by midnight.

...

The end.
Quite enjoyable issue, see you for Nightwing Rebirth

Earlier user who asked about Corrigan here. Lol, Grayson is a troll!

This was pretty shit

>the male vampire isn't hot
ONE FUCKING JOB

Leviathan/Spyral > League of Assassins

Spotted dick is a fruit pudding, it's dessert. You know the whole 'no pudding till after dinner' thing?

Shirou get off the internet and go back to your swords.

OK, thanks I completely didn't notice the 'spotted' part

By the way, is DC's website wrong or are the only other comics this week Deathstroke's and TT's annuals, Master Race and Legend of WW?

It's a fifth Wednesday, that's it.

Did anyone dislike the humor in Grayson? I usually like puns and silliness in the conversations but Graysons banter was always more annoying than funny to me. And I thought the spy song was dorky.

I don't mean to be a stick in the mud. I did love this series. But the humor was just off in a lot of parts I thought.

>Gotham by midnight
Is this worth reading? I'm trying to get through my backlog of Batman Family books and don't know if I should put this on the list.

I only read the ass end but liked that. This felt way more on the nose and shallow

The humor was mostly hit or miss. The fucks who wrote this come across as 100% fan fiction tier.

definitely. Fresh new take on the Spectre mythos, interesting new characters created for the run(sadly they don't get too much fleshing out because the series got cut short) and god tier art(Templesmith was AWESOME and then Ferreyra was even better).

Constantine's first encounter with Dick is beautiful.

Batman makes a few cameos, but it isn't about the batfamily. It remains a Spectre book.

>take a shower, John
kek

Okay, that's a cool way to draw the hypnos thing.

I hope that Azrael having different hair in every appearance becomes a running joke.

Well, given that Spectre acts based on Corrigan's thoughts, it's probably a similar scenario to Spectre's 70s stuff, where Corrigan kept Spectre as a separate personality.

Porn. This is porn.

I didn't know Harley was a gymnast, but this is cute.

Aw, it's dumb, but it's fun.

>tfw no Constantine-Corrigan team up

WHAT DO I PAY YOU FOR

>a big fat surprise
>and not the kind I like on my birthday
jej

Oh come on, Baz didn't even know who the fuck you were!

Yeah, it was great.

>be a green lantern
>carry around a gun and use your ring constructs to throw cars at parademons all day long

No wonder your energy is running low.

Aw man, I was hoping for a Corrigan-Dick team-up as well. It was a nice twist, but I miss Corrigan.

How is it that Harley is so much more likable in any book that isn't her solo title?

I just can't fathom constantine giving even a microfuck enough about his hair to style it

>All this objectifying of Dick

Oh Jesus, lend me strength...

No, in Gotham by Midnight Corrigan has no control over Spectre. It's the other way around, unlike previously where Corrigan's morals affected the Spectre's judgements. Now he's a pure wrath of Allah.

Well I'm glad someone's addressing the hypocrisy of "Parademons don't count towards the no-kill rule"

>Azrael fangirling over Grayson so hard
Too bad this won't carry over to Detective Comics

Can Parademons even think for themselves? It's pretty much like killing rabid dogs.

Yeah, that's one of the things I dislike about nuConstantine, along with him going HARD gay and using Harry Potter spells all the time. He's got that roguish charm, but he's not a scumbag like he once was.

Did you all collectively forget about City of Demons?

>going HARD gay
Nah, he's bisexual as fuck. Even with all his lusting after Grayson in this issue, he still notes that getting eaten by hot vampire chicks isn't a bad death at all.

I have to agree with Constantine

lewd

he actually made a gun

I like this.

C U T E

> who the hell is dick grayson

Simon just wanted a friend, Dick ;_;

Will they show Constantine lusting after every DCU hero? I hope so.

>Dick got to her earlier that day

>cars
Perfect

Man, Harley is such a slut. She already jumped her bones on both Bruce and Batman, and now she's already kissing Nightwing?

Hold yourself, girl.

Zatanna is only for sexual with Batman and Constantine.

That editor's note actually made me laugh

*is hold*

Wait, I thought Hypnos was some kind of contact lenses?

What would happen if Midnighter and Constantine met?
