The issues written and drawn by Frank Robbins are my favorites, especially the issue of Detective Comics where Batman plays Russian Roulette.

My runner up is the Bob Haney issues of Brave and the Bold, particularly those drawn by Jim Aparo. The Nick Cardy issues are nice too.

Dini on Detective

Slott has nothing to do with those. The fuck are you talking about nigga.

good taste op

Does anyone have any rec's on the best storys from Legend of the Dark Knight?

I downloaded the whole damn thing not to long ago and its fairly daunting without knowing at least which arcs to avoid. I'd just read it all but I don't have alot of time for reading in general, sadly

Anything else good by Steve Englehart?

1-. Paul Dini

Doctor Strange, Captain America, Avengers

1. Morrison
2. Grant's
3. The bat stuff by Miller
4. Snyder

>inb4 someone greentexts Snyder.

Archie Goodwin's tenure on Detective Comics. Includes art by Alex Toth and Jim Aparo plus the Manhunter backups by Walt Simonson that lead to the awesome final issue drawn by Simonson where Batman and Manhunter team up.

Detective was 100 pages per issue at the time so they also put a lot of reprints in each issue but there was a good selection of reprints. Stuff like Ditko's Creeper and Kirby's Newsboy Legion.

Speaking of Shaman, what the fuck happened to that new edition that was solicited for January?

The best Dr. Strange run of all time next to Ditko's

This sounds great. I'm gonna check it out next.
