back when they were men and not numale libcucks

>who was the target audience for this film?
gay men

There will never be a film like this made ever again. All young men should watch it.

What the fuck movie is this

You're a casual faggot for not knowing, but instead of killing yourself, go watch the original Conan the Barbarian.

>"this you can trust"
>*points to dick*

everyone itt wants to fuck their dads prove me wrong

Sharlto Copley has been around for a bit

Go to bed Freud

>not rescuing your dad and then becoming the new dad

the target audience is the physical and mental elite

tell me about the duckface

People that like to look at beefy man for 90 minutes.

Comic book, action and Conan fans.

The target audience was the mass audience at the time.
Totally different than what exists now. The movies of today are for millennials

The pop culture referencing numale fags who do that shit with their arms and listen to chick music aka: "hip-hop"/some effeminate variation of it

70's Bikers

What

Milius is a god.

faggots and retards
>le entry-level philosophy xDDD

A good series of blog posts on the subject: revenantpublications.com/tag/conan/

Ordered: newest to oldest (so start at the bottom)

>le born in le wrong generation

The target audience was everybody

>That which does not kill us makes us scronger

It's a fun adventure film which touches on philosophy without sticking its head up its own ass in the process. It's an absolute classic and the soundtrack is one of the greatest film soundtracks of all time. I watch it at least once a year.

>kills your men
>rapes and kills your women
>enslaves your children
>makes them walk around in circles pushing some wooden wheel thing for no purpose, then teaches them to fight and eventually releases them

What was his end game?

Please leave, reddit.

You snobby faggots. What movie is this?

Conan the Barbarian you underage pleb

He sold the children to some slaver who made the children mill grain or something. Presumably most of them either died or were sold off in turn until only Conan remained.

Fuck, I watched this movie 100 times as a kid. I don't remember the pic.

>sold
Ya that makes more sense now that I think about it. But whole concept just seems ridiculous. It'd be far easier to have some cattle/ox turn that thing if they wanted something ground down, as they'd be more efficient from a feeding/taking care of point of view. I get the feeling the whole point of the wheel was to make an easy transition scene from young weak conan to adult strong conan.

audience targeting is entirely a post-millennial phenomena

most, if not all movies made before 1999 were the results of people high on cocaine saying "THIS'LL BE GREAT MAKE IT!!"

probably going with the concept that oxen cost more than people

KROM!

Why take an expensive oxen when you have cheap children, user?
But yeah, it was an excuse to have a transition between young & adult conan.
Still, it is not a plot hole.
