They also made it pretty easy to hate everyone else, too, but I'm pretty sure that was accidental. Like that one time when Cheetara threw down her weapon when one of the baddies had Tygra at gunpoint. She had literally NO REASON to believe they wouldn't just murderer the lot of them regardless, yet she surrenders anyway.

How many times did Lion-O have to learn the "Don't act impulsively, think things through instead" lesson. It was like, 4 episodes, then he'd apparently forget and have to learn it again the next episode.
Fuck, in the same episode with those little plant people, the lesson Lion-O and the other Thundercats were supposed to learn was about how life is precious so you shouldn't be so quick to throw it away... only to run directly into danger and try to fight the mutant army they knew they couldn't beat. They only didn't die because Panthro showed up.
They completely forgot the moral lesson of the episode before the episode was even over.
All we can hope for is a Netflix reboot that starts with the first two episodes of this and then isn't shit.

I'll be as simple as I can, just for you; you are wrong, Cheetara (the cat lady with the big tits) did not lead Lion-O on. He (and you, obviously) mistook her attentions for actual *interest* in him, like, as a girlfriend. Neither he, nor you, picked up on the fact that she was not, in fact, hot for his spiky cat penis. It was all so obvious that my wife and I actually cringed, audibly and physically, while watching scenes between them playing out.
Probably nobody. Even the furry community at the time didnt really bother with the show.

Good point, but its relevant since she showed very little interest in Tigra. In fact, it seemed very one sided which in turn just fueled Tigra's jealousy. Then all of a sudden she springs the "I loved you all along you dignus" and we get a neat little flashback of why with no hints prior to it. It was very jarring and superficial.
I would rather have had the flashback to have been shown in dribs and drabs over the season, somehow, without giving the whole game away.
I think it can be put down to a writer who hated Lion-O so much and loved Tygra to the point that it deranged the storytelling. I can't bring myself to hate the characters themselves.

I really like the idea of making Lion-O the techy of the group. It's a role that's usually reserved for the token genius, so for the leader to actually be it is a nice change of pace.
