portuguese does sound like russian, you'll be fine

move back to russia demitry

>Than
wow, that really speaks for itself. to hell with you, mutt

>Russian
You have to go back, Ivan

Learn the language before coming here. There are a couple of rich brits living in Porto that speak really good portuguese.

>Russian
Then you already know how Portuguese intonation works.

Portuguese should take you less than 600 hours to learn. Perhaps 450 hours since you're already bilingual.

You will have to learn the language in the long run, you will just need to overcome the degrading gut feeling of learning a language that is mostly spoken by unwashed subhumans, kinda like what happens with french too.

this. everyone will just assume you're azorean

So if I can't move to Portrugal where can I go?

I don't want to go to Russia or some East Euro country, well maybe Latvia or Estonia but fuck I don't want to get killed, just live a good life as a quiet rich man with a mansion in some older European country

>Italy i'm looking at you

This. We need subtitles sometimes to understand Azoreans.

There are even strong accents that they don't even understand between themselves.

I can teach you portuguese and you teach me russian.

You always need to learn the language I think or get help from official authorities - American, Portuguese consulate/embassy or Russian to not get scammed or kidnapped.

Go to Bahamas or another Anglophones countries or possessions if you can't speak other languages.

Sorry mate, no such thing exists like Portugal except Portugal.

Don't come, am*ricans are not welcome here

everybody pretty much already speaks english in some regions of the Algarve

You can do fine in either Lisbon or Porto just speaking english, but you prolly wouldn't want to move there if you knew how expensive housing has gotten.

There is a ton of brittish expats in Algarve (the furthest south), so maybe look into that. Lots of retirees and tourists there. Business is very seasonal (booms in the summer), may be harder to get a job there than closer to the big cities.

>Russian
Is it you, Trump?

Edit: thanks for the Gold

it sounds french to me

Purtuguese is basically Russian

French people were used to settle in the islands.

only in the beginning. then he starts making these hissing sounds like in polish.

French people immigrated there. Also Flemish from European background.

Portugal looks like a very good place to live in
