The entire episode is a crossover between The Simpsons and The Critic, and is about Springfield having a film festival. In that scene, the people in the theater are booing at the short film that Burns made. Trying to avoids Burns from becoming upset/angry, he tells him that they're agains urns. An urn is defined as a tall, rounded vase with a base, and often a stem, especially one used for storing the ashes of a cremated person. Due to Burns being old and senile, he believes what Mr. Smithers said to him.
