Fucking hate remakes on principle, but I'll give this a chance, don't fail me Sup Forums.

Its aiight as a remake.

No. Let Me In was shit.

why would you give this a chance out of everything? It's trash. the only remakes I can think of that are worth watching are The Departed and Dragon Tattoo. Don't let your ugly little fridge girl meme you into seeing this pile of shit

The original was so much better.

Plus it implied that the vampire girl was actually a trap.

We all knew this was coming so might as well get it over with sooner than later

It's great as a let's take the original intention of the first film and dial it up to 11.

Forced myself to sit through it a few weeks ago. It was every bit as awful as I expected, what is over-reliance on cgi that take you out of the immersion every ten minutes?

...

the 1981 thing was a remake you nonce

The Thing 2011 isn't a remake, are you fucking retarded?

He must have confused you're post with Carpenters version when you were talking about the 2011 prequel.

Or

cronenberg's the fly

So was Let the right one in desu

The remake doesn't have the crotch shot that the original film has. According to traditional vampire lore, they're neither male nor female. In the original we get a look the girl's crotch and she's like a barbie doll down there.

This is really the only remake I know of that improves upon the original in every way.

>According to traditional vampire lore
>of beings based partially on incubus and succubus

Cronenberg's Fly and Carpenter's Thing are masterful you faggot.

>it implied that the vampire girl was actually a trap.
No it didn't.

as someone who doesn't like remakes i rather enjoyed this one.
of course i had seen the other one.
same goes for the new evil dead.

Shit remake. Original is Kino.
You had one job OP...

Yes it did. Read the book.

Wrong

Wrong

Right

Pic related is best remake

Carpenter's The Thing is a remake, you fucking mongoloid.

Sorry I'm fucked up i thought you were talking about the thing prequel

Finally watched this for the first time this week. Very impressed, and very happy to see practical effects instead of CG. It's also been a while since I've seen a monster movie that didn't rely on characters being retarded to drive the conflict.

No, it didn't. You don't know what "imply" means, retard.
