>An Air Algerie passenger jet travelling to Marseilles declared an emergency in mid-air shortly after take-off.
>Air Algerie flight AH1020 travelling from the Algerian capital of Algiers to Marseille declared an emergency before disappearing from radars following the plane’s path, according to online flight tracking sources.
>Radar tracking the Boeing 737-600 showed the plane turn around and head back towards the point where it took-off but before arriving - however it has now vanished off the radar.
>Radar tracking the Boeing 737-600 showed the plane turn around and head back towards the point where it took-off but before arriving - however it has now vanished off the radar. That doesn't sound either right or good. It means either a snackbar has had the transponder turned off or the plane has gone down or gone full attack mode.

usually means one of two things - no transmissions, it went dark. They use "radar" interchangeably with radio, sometimes. - it went below a certain altitude, below which a lot of radar systems aren't really tracking. Usually, this means it crashed.

This week I did a hiking in the French massif central. We could hear the rafales patrolling the sky every few hours. They can be in marseilles in 20 minutes.
The plane would never get even in the direction of strategical point. Otherwise French governement is a shill, like the US gov on 9/11.

>why the fuck do people jump to conclusions
Because Sudden Allah Ackbar Rapid Disassembly Syndrome (SAARDS) is the most common cause of aviation crashes in the last few years and if plane goes missing and there's no vacationing Russians near by, it's an easy conclusion.

Why is the transponder something that the pilot can just turn off? It should be utterly inaccessible.

In a time of war, most nations can commandeer all civilian aviation for troop transport.
You want to be able to disable ACARS and ADS to make it more difficult for the enemy to find the aircraft.

Well yeah, the existence of fighter jets is why 11/09 is thought to be an inside job. The five dancing israelis and the physical impossibility of the official narrative don't help, either.

There's a discreet hijacking squawk that a pilot can put in unnoticed. It's no hijacking.
