I only listen to based ragtime and electronic ambient music. Dunno whether it is pol approved or not.
Samuel Lopez
A bit restricted. You should broaden your musical tastes
Adam Wilson
Drake, lil wayne and nicky minaj.

I listen to mostly folk, even classical music has some masonic symbolisms
Caleb Ramirez
A leaf listening to nigger music. Why am I not surprised?
Noah Morris
Folk music is good for easy listening but lacks the inspirational power of classical and operatic music
John Kelly
> >A leaf listening to nigger music. Why am I not surprised? It's 2016 m8. Tous les moyens sont bon pour ramasser l'oseille. Nah sérieusement j'écoute pas ce purin, je suis plus blues que classique parcontre.
Dream theater, clapton, hendrix, etc..
Si tu aimes le blues il y a un excellent groupe français de France, ça s'appelle County Jels.
>What do you listen to, Sup Forums ? Meme as fuck, but mostly vaporwave, post vaporwave (mostly future funk and glo-fi, but some nu-disco as well) and the like. In terms of "mainstream" shit, I like 50's and early 60's rock, lounge, classic country. Not a super huge fan of pop or modern rap. I do enjoy some mid 2000's dirty south and midwest rap though.

For some reason I mostly avoid music with vocals. Synthwave/newretrowave or whatever: youtube.com/watch?v=tDX25hOWsSs
Not a huge fan of new retro synthwave myself, but it's amazing how vaporwave fractured itself into so many diverse sub-genres, including nrswave. Keep grooving, Sverige. Might be hope for you yet.
Nicholas Cooper
My only fault with classical music is that it's too good for just background listening. Synthwave and vaporwave fit that purpose better for me.

Classical music is good, everyone in this thread is posting stuff from the romantic era though. Romantic era music is so good it makes me tear up. Modern music really doesn't compare.

Your descendants were invaded by Russians and now in the year 2016 the last generation of German man sits on his computer, alone in his room, requesting yet more of that fantastic Russian music, whilst outside brown hordes of invaders roam the land, raping and pillaging, unchecked and unchallenged.
And fuck you for shitting all over Vangelis, you impotent, Swan Lake listening, cuckhold faggot.
Nolan Lee
Not really.
Classical is based on bullshit rules like the 7th is the devil, and it's mainly piano or orchestral; both of which has a boring tonal pallet.
I was autistic for a which and tried to love chopin and debussy.
Blake Bennett

Ryder Wright
I mostly listen to classical as background music when I study.
Same here. I have no talent for any art whatsoever, so I can only consume it.
Jacob Bennett
there will always be one music prof who says "yeah I dont really like Beethoven. I'd much rather spend my efforts on (((Schoenberg)))". God these people need a dose of Zyklon. Germany, you are my fav country just because of the Music your ancestors came up with.
Jaxon Ross
...he said, with copious amounts of abo cum on his breath.
Asher Johnson
>God these people need a dose of Zyklon. >Germany, you are my fav country just because of the Music your ancestors came up with.
Thank you! Yeah, Germany used to produce amazing artists and musicians, Beethoven is definitely my favorite, and I wish we had someone like him now.
romantic era was the peak. The Impressionists were good but after that with all the "expressionists" who picked the 12-tone bandwagon up and ran with it the fate of music was sealed
i had a dream of getting into Paris Conservatoire for composition studies but then I realized that I should do the learning by my own as there is no joy greater than figuring out stuff on your own ( also hard af to get in)
Jackson Peterson
I've been enjoying Lil' Dickie recently. He's somewhat funny.
Someone already posted Mozart's Requiem above, but I would like to specifically draw your attention to the Offertorium, listen until the 35:34 mark: youtu.be/sPlhKP0nZII?t=1670

What are you studying? check this youtube.com/watch?v=mNsHxx_uh9Y Sup Forums let's be honest right? for whom that listen classical music. Are you loser? youtube.com/watch?v=4OuRajFzMYI I only listen light rock (like alternative) some metal, a lot chill-hop and a lot of OST
Lincoln Torres
Post your favorite pieces by him please.

It truly is an amazing work. One of the all time greats.
>tried to love chopin what do you mean, "tried"? i truly don't understand how anyone has to try and like chopin. bach, i get because he challenges you to keep up, but chopin has some of the most viscerally divine music in the piano's history. youtube.com/watch?v=P6rr1nxbsYc (actually, i prefer engerer's version, but couldn't find it on jewtube)
Blake Harris
Yeah, the timeline in my minds goes like this, vintage stuff with Bach and Vivaldi is pretty good, western classical era was a big step up, and romantic era was like wow I did not know humans possessed that emotional capacity, or the ability to express it at will with sophistication, just blows my mind, and stirs up the better parts of my soul in ways not much else can. I'd have to ride in a hot air balloon over rolling green hills with millions of people dancing in harmony and world peace and shit to achieve that same feeling. If I lived my shitty modern life without ever having heard stuff from German/Austrian composers it'd be such a horrid waste.

i don't think i've ever met anyone who likes carbon based lifeforms, or even knows about them. having said that, their music is really cheesy (albeit in a satisfying way) and doesn't hold a candle to the best of western compositions.
Cooper Powell
Really a big fan of Chopin. Used to play a lot of Bach when I was a kid on piano obviously (I ain't no harpsichord cuck).
But yeah other than that I mostly listen to Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys.
you're allright man. Wagner, Berlioz, Brahms and on and on, the time was unreal in this regards. Cannot contemplate how infinitely tolerable this world becomes when you have a good earphone and a phone full of these guys.
Matthew Scott
If only Mozart had lived another 10 years, you can hear the beginning of Romanticism in a lot of his late works. youtube.com/watch?v=PftH8FVzIRY
nothing wrong with a bit of techno. I like it too on occasion. not hugely keen on jazz.
Stop trying to be an edgelord by saying you don't like classical music though. you're just making yourself sound stupid.
Dominic King
yes but i'd like to point out that a Berlioz is up there with any ruski legend. Berlioz just makes me feel warm and good. I prefer him over any of the ruskies
