Just noticed this documentary in the new releases on Netflix. >Hulk Hogan's court case against Gawker Media sheds light on wealthy, powerful figures who challenge freedom of the press in order to silence critics.
What the fuck? Why are they so insistent on vilifying Hulk? Gawker had no right to release his video and only did it in a transparent attempt to make money off his suffering. And they seriously try to take the fucking moral high ground here?
>Clinton: fucked an intern >Bush Jr: HUGE MORON >Obama: drones and race relations >Trump: BIGGER MORON
Nicholas Sanchez
>Bush Jr. elected twice See you in 2020 in that case
Nolan Roberts
can you imagine being so butthurt about being destroyed in court you petition George Soros to finance a opinion piece about how your egregious miscarriage of justice, IE this old man wrestler was too smart for a bunch of slick NYC jews? haha holy shit it's amazing I love it.
Cameron Rivera
>Obama and Clinton also elected twice Get owned.
Dylan Anderson
About 5% of the movie is about Hogan.
Dylan Wilson
they got worked into a shoot
Dominic Lopez
>exploits one of the biggest wrestlers of all time who was filmed having sex WITHOUT HIS KNOWLEDGE >outs a CEO as being gay for clicks >Gawker still tries to make themselves look like the victim
They dug their own grave. Plus, black people still love Hogan. This shit did nothing to his image.
Nolan Kelly
>Gawker had no right to release his video and only did it in a transparent attempt to make money off his suffering. I can't even see how the documentary can make a logical connection between the Hulkster suing a company that violated his privacy and corporate entities suing journalists to shut them up. There's a huge difference there, and Hulk's case really has nothing to do with freedom of speech or freedom of the press; it was about suing a company that released a private video with the intent of profiting off of hurting his public image.
Hudson Parker
Yeah because Ross split the vote for the Republicans and no one liked Romney on either side.
Jackson Torres
Does this (((documentary))) show gawker testifying that they would publish a sex tape involving children?
Austin Lewis
This really isnt pol

>Because he said nigger one time in a private phone call Hogan can used that word because he's been as one: youtube.com/watch?v=a1o82BVKFp8

>Shows to court and presents his case, breaks down in tears at one point. >Gawker CEO stands there with a smug face and admits he ignored a court order. Then tries to use the holocaust as a defense Unless the documentary omits all facts about the case, I don't know how they can argue Hogan was in the wrong. And what left is there to report other than the case itself?
John Kelly
The fact that Hulk won the case against Gawker proves that he had a legitimate claim. If you don't like the result then blame the legal system; not Hulk/Thiel.
Tyler Nguyen
No because no one liked Kerry's wife. Women are very catty. Hating a woman means they hate everyone associated with her too. Guess you're just too young to remember what happen and read text books with doctored history.
Nathaniel Perry
This documentary must be North Korean level propaganda to try to paint gawker as the good guys

HULKMANIA RUNNING WILD BROTHERRRR
Levi Martinez
well there big problem was ignoring a court order, is that glossed over in the doc?
John Lee
>freedom of the press
Turns out "freedom of the press" just means a free-pass for Jews to say anything they want in any way they want without reprisals.
Adam Myers
of course it was ignored in the doc
this is another Soros Netflix work.

I've only seen the trailer and will prob check out the doc in a bit but it seems to me that this is less about Hulk Hogan's case, but rather that Peter Thiel helped fund his case. They seem to be painting this as Billionaires vs Freedom of the Press rather than Hulk vs Gawker. Notably they include Trump's call to reform libel laws to open up the press to more lawsuits.
Personally I think this is really massive media corporations vs the private interests of individual billionaires and I hope they both lose. Fucking scumbag fucks the lot.
Landon Martin
>jobber >A professional wrestler who frequently and deliberately loses matches.

they're just mad hulk got 115 mil out of the corrupt bastards

He made some good points. Shame that everybody will make this court case a political issue.

>Be shitty clickbait website >Release leaked celebrity video online >Court tells you to take it down >Don't take it down >Get told you might get sued pretty hard for it >Post a article that you won't even though the court told you >"Pssst, bring it on Hogan! You don't stand a chance. We'll win for sure, easy" >Find out very quickly that people think you're a piece of shit and don't have any defense for the shit you pulled >Get sued into oblivion >Everyone laughs and celebrates your shit site going down in flames and it's all your fault >"I-isn't it t-terrible that the rich can shut down f-freedom of the p-press? haha"
Carson Rodriguez
>Find out very quickly that people think you're a piece of shit and don't have any defense for the shit you pulled
You know if that didn't do that. Than they would be right on.
>"I-isn't it t-terrible that the rich can shut down f-freedom of the p-press? haha"
Carson Gutierrez
Reading articles about this, I'm shocked yet at the same time not surprised about how it's being reported. Certain key details about the case and trial being left out of articles in order to make Gawker look like the victim. Like how the sex tape was recorded and sent out without Hogan's permission. Or that a judge told Gawker to take it down. Or how Gawker CEO Nick Denton ignored the order and smugly said so in court. Or how Daulerio also said that a sex tape isn't newsworthy, thus wouldn't publish, if the celeb involved was just under 4 years old. Or how the argument being made that "we don't want rich people doing whatever they want in court" forgetting that Nick Denton is a millionaire and Gawker made millions.
Hunter Wilson
The only downside is that Gawker still exists as Gizmodo. While the people in charge got in trouble, the writers still exist as Gizmodo Media. Meaning they got away scott free without punishment and kept their blogger jobs. It'd be nice if everyone attached to the blogsite would have been canned and rushing for jobs at places like buzzfeed lol.
Hudson Morgan
also, I'm pretty sure that Jezebel is still going which is the real cancer
Cooper Walker
Holy shit I literally never said anything about Soros and Antifa. I literally said I hope both sides lose and that includes Soros and his ilk. I don't care if you're a conservative or liberal billionaire you're a cunt in my eyes.
Learn to read you fucking retard. It'll take you further than the thinking comprehension of a fucking toddler.
Camden Cruz
What year is it?
Josiah Cook
Yep. Jezebel is still going as is io9 & kotaku. The articles have changed into more pro-black and pro-women articles now. Like this one ... complaining about black superheros having electrical powers ... out of the hundreds of characters in both marvel & dc only a few have electrical powers, which fans point out, and the author tried to shoe-horn in Storm. There's another one about the live action cowboy bebop and the author complains about people's casting choices being white. We'll see if catering to liberal women and blacks will keep them afloat.
So are they mad that it takes literally millions to win court cases against powerful entities (which is indeed shit) or are they just upset that their gay little tabloid got shut down by a gay San Fransisco tech billionaire who got of the Democratic reservation?
Carter Gutierrez

So what is that thing about anyway?

they just want to win in 2020, it's their only chance. Everything else is always conservatives winning but they know by winning the Presidency they also control the Supreme Court.

so is this entire website jabronie
Austin Harris
>Why are they so insistent on vilifying Hulk?
Not Hogan. Thiel. He's the one who funded Hogan's case.
Ryder Lee
I love that clip. As soon as booker T says it he just knows he fucked up.
