...

...

In no order:

Esad Ribic
Stuart Immonen
Mike Del Mundo
Daniel Acuna
Mike Deodato
Declan Shalvey (line art) + Jordie Bellaire (colorist)
Yusuke Murata
Trad Moore
James Harren
Matteo Scalera

I feel like Chris Samnee is overlooked by Sup Forums because of how much he works with Waid, who is clearly way past his prime.

Him, Paolo Rivera, Aja and Javier Rodriguez are only artists who can pull current new wave of shitty "self-aware" style that current Iron Fist and Power Man, Squirrel Girl and some other shit are trying to capture. Guess what, you can't cover up shitty art in shitty comics by calling them stylized, this is how you do it.

Los Bros Hernandez

In terms of most skilled or "most aesthetically appealing"?

Is Mike Mignola still drawing stuff? Because him

I absolutely love Sean Murphy's art, bought a lot of stuff just for his art alone

...

Raul Allen.

You want inspiration, watch Kim Jung Gi on youtube; you are going to have an overload of inspiration.

ACO is one of my favorites

Samnee's art is so good, I just can't stand the comics he works on

I did love that all ages Thor run though

Damn, I left him off my list. I love his stuff.

Not really a fan of "best artists" lists (as I think there's way too much subjectivity involved when it comes to judging comics art) but the following active artists are the ones whose current/recent work I greatly admire:

Eduardo Risso
Goran Parlov
Sean Murphy
Tyler Crook
Stuart Immonen
Bengal
Kenji Tsuruta
Greg Tocchini
Matteo Scalera

Maurizio Rosenzweig
Geof Darrow
Paul Pope
Michael Avon Oeming
Christopher Mitten

>Dodson
I was with you until right here

JH Williams is definitely up there.

Marcos Martin and Javier Pulido as well

Tonci Zonjic kinda falls into the same spectrum but his work has a more gritty feel to it. Really there's a lot of great Croatian artists that are completely unknown to the American public (the most prominent being Goran Parlov, Goran Sudzuka, Dalibor Talajic, Esad Ribic, Edvin Biukovic (RIP) and the ever-hated beast Igor Kordej

Don't bring poser abusers into this

That's an all time list, btw, not just current.

How new is ACO?

ian bertram

he has that style of drawing I really enjoy, like grampa, darrow and burnham

>Kentaro Miura
Have you seen the latest chapter of Berserk? I think the hiatus has made him soft.

>no Stokoe

Too bad he's going to do marlel garbage now...

>Javier Pulido

Didn't he have another entirely new manga out during the hiatus? That might also explain it.

>Too bad he's going to do marlel garbage now...
For only one such issue so far

why are you hating on pulido
let me guess you only read his she hulk

Pretty comprehensive
I'd add Ribic

Also, Kev O'Neill.
Legend

...

...

Yeah but at least he was drawing that how he usually dose. This new move to digital doesn't look very 'berserk'.

At least you admit his She-Hulk is absolute trash.

>ctrl+f "ron wimberly"
fuck ALL y'all

>Deodato

I hope you like Poser model tracing.

frazer irving best

Gleason or Manke are literally the best Superman artists available

Chris Samnee is so damn good, I'm glad he got mentioned. He definitely gets overlooked a lot.

Sara Pichelli
David Marquez

>Mike Deodato
Discarded

Different strokes, user. As far as mainstream-ish cheesecake goes, I prefer Dodson over Cho (Dodson's been doing solid storytelling/paneling with his more recent European comics work), though I do think they're something of an acquired taste.

Ramos

...

I counter your "Discarded" with
>Pichelli

Who is coloring and lining the GA Rebirth book? Those guys are doing gods work.

>Not loving Pichelli

Deodato's a tracer

doing watercolors now apparently

>Cho

sameface, manface, can't draw more than two body types (one's male, one's female), poor grasp of scale

Ramos at least draws his own shit, even if you don't like it, and tries to inject energy into scenes

Pichelli isn't very good but still
>Deodato

After looking over more of his stuff, Deodato is too kinda plain for me.

>Pichelli isn't very good but still
Total bullshit, she's fantastic.

>Cho
>manface

That's what you post to prove Pichelli is good?

Not him but while the designs are shit the art is good.

That's a great example of different faces and expressions which happens to be a huge complaint with a lot of fans of comics. I'm sure you're trolling though because you're mad at someone else disagreeing with your picks.
