Homestuck.
Homestuck.

Best is K6BD.

Worst is Hathor the Cow Goddess.

Your favorite webcomic

Worst: Assigned Male

Best: Nedroid

Unsounded

CAD or Assigned Male

Wtf is assigned male?

Paranatural

Paranatural post train

>Fucking google... how does THAT work?

Best: Achewood

Worst: Impossible to tell given the literally endless glut of shitty sonic sprite comics.

Who is the most bait worthy webcomic author and why is it the computer love author?

What I think is best depends on my mood but the one I most consistently put in my top 3 is Gunnerkrigg Court.

Worst is a silly question, the actual worst webcomics out there are ones nobody has ever heard of. Worst still-popular one is Penny Arcade desu.

>best
Nedroid
>worst
Homestuck genuinely broke my spirit

How could Homestuck be so good in the beginning and so shit at the end? How can one author fall so far?

>Homestuck genuinely broke my spirit
Word's have never been spoken any truer.

The end was bad, but honestly I think it still averages out to a decent comic as a whole. I'd still recommend reading it.

Worst:Sonichu
Best:Tails gets Trolled

Sonichu is a national treasure.

I don't know about best, but the question reminded me moon over june exists, so I say that one's the worst.

Best: Debatable, though my picks are Demon's Mirror for serial and Nedroid for "gag a day"

Worst: Moon Over June for comedy, Dreaming of Utopia for drama.
Utopia guy needs to learn how to show stories, not tell them. MoJ is just ugly.
Your favorite webcomic is also pretty bad.

I've never read Homestuck and I intend to keep it that way.

I almost dislocated my jaw trying to copy MoJ's facial expressions.

Worst is Dominic Deegan
Best is Buttsmithy

Read the first four acts of Homestuck for genuine entertainment.

Then keep reading if you want to gradually hate life.

Hard mode:
>Best narrative webcomic with an ending

Best: Brawl in the Family. Yeah yeah, video game comics, I know, but BitF was just so genuinely fun

Worst: One of those "two gamers on a couch" comics. There's probably a million of them to chose from.

"Worst" is hard to define, as it infinitely descends downward. Sup Forums will answer with memes, but then you could just as easily point to some retard's deviantart donut steel vomit.

Haven't read many with an ending. Problem Sleuth?

>I'd still recommend reading it.
Do you realize how much of a time investment that becomes reading from start to finish? Can you really recommend reading the whole thing for what boils down to "decent" in spite of it?

TJ and Amal for romance/SOL

Ending was kind of anti-climatic but I don't know if I would've enjoyed it more the other way the author planned.

Eh, fair. I'll amend that to "read it if you have the time" or just say what said. But I don't regret investing the time, personally.

I'm glad you don't have regrets, user. I know I found the Midnight Crew to be some of the best shit ever.

Best Tier: I really dig Paranatural right now. Erfworld is also getting good now that we see more of Charlie.

Worst Tier: Neokosmos.

fucking incredible tier: SBAHJ

I was tempted to say QC is the worst, just from the sheer number of threads about it on here on a daily basis, but then I remembered

at least he draws his comics

>Worst: xkcd
I wish i lived in a universe where this was true, because then stuff like Assigned Male and CAD either don't exist or are actually good.

Right now, I really like Bug Quest. It's also the only webcomic I've actually read so my opinion is probably shite.

Shit, TJ and Amal ended? Fuck, I need to read that again.
As long as it doesn't end like fucking Goodbye Chains I'll be happy.

JL8 is the best.

homestuck kind of fell flat on the end.

>What's the best webcomic ever made
KID RADD.

Without a doubt or an hesitation. And the keypart here is "Web", in Webcomic. Kidradd trully take advantage of the medium it is on and couldn't exist in any other form than on the web.

It has a great story, great humor and a moral that is simple yet powerful.

Kid Radd is the best webcomic of the internet it's a shame HTML5 refuse to handle midi 5.

I really wish Chris Chan would stop being so egotistical and realize just how much entertainment he's brought to people's lives and be glad about that.

He's basically a celebrity, but it's never possible to feel sorry for him because of his conceit and his retard antics.

see

I'm reading through Paranatural right now, and I'm really enjoying it. Prequel is pretty good too.

As for the worst, I haven't read too many webcomics yet to really say, but Homestuck turned into a train wreck with its finale. The beginning acts were fun to read though.

I literally came here to post this.

I wouldn't say a train wreck, but it turned out to be underwelming.

Yeah I guess that's a better word. It's a shame too. I got my hopes up after Collide happened.

I'll be honest. I consider to was still great p until the very last Jade log. Last really well done part of the comic. Great character moment.

After that it really felt like Hussie tried to wrap up things way too fast.

>thread about webcomics in general
>turns into a stealth homestuck thread

>I really wish Chris Chan would stop being so egotistical and realize just how much entertainment he's brought to people's lives and be glad about that

That's why he's so interesting. His life has been recorded practically his whole life and due to his legit retardation he is still unaware that people find him genuinely entertaining. Chris-chan will always be unaware that people all over the internet are watching him aside from the "trolls" and he probably never will.

It barely is. But if it really is, then you are part of the problem. post you Best/Worst webcomic, then, instead of talking about hs, even in a second-hand way.

What is my worst webcomic?

Don't really have one specific in head, but any webcomic that rely on Template Posers. Even if yu draw like shit at least it will improve out of exercises. Poser comics? It will never look better than what you get.

Forgot pic.

>ctrl+f raine dog
>phrase not found

I don't even know what you are talking about.

this is basically all you need to know

Thank you. i had managed to forget about this.

I remember Lancaster being pretty good but it's been a long time since I read it.

Nedroid is the best. Hark! A Vagrant is pretty good too. 8-Bit Theatre is probably the best comic that tries to tell a single coherent story.

I don't know that many bad webcomics other than the ones Sup Forums regularly hates on. LICD hasn't gotten much mention recently so I guess I'll choose it.

Pic related has some finished long form comics.

What

That isn't hard mode at all. Digger.

>best: Nedroid
and /thread

>no one has mentioned Space Moose

>What's the best webcomic ever made, Sup Forums?
8-Bit Theater.

My brother of sub saharan african descent.

youtube.com/watch?v=-leYc4oC83E

A comic about a little boy who's fucking obsessed with his genitals

>Brawl in the family
>good
pick one

Like the Hindenburg.

Real worst webcomic wouldn't be "kek your fave webcomic to troll" or "comic I am sick of hearing about" or "comic whose politics I disagree with" but probably "webcomic by some 5 year old or brutally retarded 40 year old that no one has ever heard of and is literally terrible scribbles drawn on a napkin and just about poop."

More like France at the Euro cup. they did fine but didn't live up to the hype.

I'm 39 years old and I admit my art isn't very good. My webcomic isn't about poop, but this still makes me feel bad.

All of them are the worst: there is no such thing as a good webcomic.

Best: Zoophobia

Worst: TwoKinds

...

You're right.

BitF is great not good!

>Best
Nedroid

>Worst
Dumbing of Age

>Neokosmos
I keep seeing posts about this on Tumblr and all I know is that one of the main characters probably has vitiligo and they really seem to be aping the Steven Universe artstyle. Why is it the worst?

Because one of he character has vilitilgo and Sup Forums hate it when someone try to feature out of the norm stuffs casually.

Candidates for best:
>A Lesson is Learned but the Damage is Irreversible
>Gunshow
>Nedroid
>Nobody Scores
>The Abominable Charles Christopher
>Digger
>Vattu

There are too many possible worsts. Hathor, The Wotch, Dominic Deegan, West Tree

Anybody buy the CAD boxset? I'm at loss for words that he actually thought people wanted that.

The wotch is a fetish comic. It's a whole different category.

The point of it is to provide fapping material under the guise of a story and it's quite good at it.

The best is Jack. Don't think I've been more entertained in my life by such edgy stupidity.

Worst is CAD. Obvious choice, but there's not even anything amazingly bad besides Loss or the ending where he dies and they make that game church. It's just so absurdly boring and bland, which is far worse imo. At least Sonichu is fun for how balls out autistic it is.

Oh my god this is one of the shittiest organization systems I've seen on a chart.

Finally, someone says it.

>What's the best webcomic
Hard to decide

>What's the worst?
LFG

But what if Nedroid is my favorite comic?

>it happens a lot.

the best webcomic ever made is american barbarian

the worst is xkcd

Paranatural is still a good webcomic, it's just that Zack paces his comic like a monthly manga chapter but updates at the rate of a weekly webcomic.

It's just... meh.

If you've read it, imagine a really over the top attempt to try and ape Homestuck Act 5 Act 2, with lots of "murder-drama with kids" and lots of "casual internet speak", but with Steven Universe's style of "crying all the time" and "muh deepest lore".

But failing at correctly imitating either, so it comes off as bland in addition to derivative.

It isn't the worst comic out there, but very it's forgettable for a comic whose main inspirations are the two most autistic fanbases on the net.

Yes. A friend, who genuinely loved CAD bought it at Hot Topic years and years ago, and we watched the whole series in one go.

It was shit, BTW. It was my first exposure of CAD too. I used to think the webcomic was an adaptation of the shitty cartoon.

First post is best post.

Best: Sucks to be Weegie

Worst: anything by Dobson.

Fucking nailed it

Kid Radd.

Best : Back (by KC Green and Anthony Clark)
Worst : Least I could Do

>Gunnerkrigg Court
>8-Bit Theatre

Confirm.
Worst for me is Homestuck... I tried but I got bored by it so quickly. And then the fanbase just made me want to rip their faces off so.

Jack is maybe entertaining for the first couple stories or so, but I can only handle so much edge
