What's a single comic panel that sums up Batman?

What's a single comic panel that sums up Batman?

The one where Bob Kane in a Batman outfit is on top of a huge pile of money laughing hysterically with Bill Finger, Jerry Robinson, Dick Sprang etc dressed as his rogues lie beaten down on the floor

This is my favorite.

I'm so disappointed in you, Sup Forums.

I don't have a copy handy, but I always loved the page from Batman RIP where he has just climbed out of the gave.

That last word was meant to be 'grave'.

Dude REALLY wants the Super-D.

Can't blame him.

...

...

I'm sure that's a shop, but what amazes me is that there's actually official art out there with Robin spreading like that.

It's a cover too.

Dick was made for lewd

Fucking Quitely.

...

Batman knows what you anons are looking at.

I love Morrison but I could never take this page seriously.

...

That one panel from the Infinite Universe tie in comic with Sir Harold of the Emerald Order introducing himself, and Batman just says "I'm Batman."

...

...

really? what a hypocrite

In what way?

...

Seriously?

...

I'm not sure how my syntax conveyed a possibility of sarcasm...but yes, please seriously explain your comment.

Who the fuck is this?

Jim Gordon and Maggie Sawyer

Batman

Gay porn is somehow has less gay than this

Batman spends all his time hiding his emotions and being dishonest. How new are you?

I am not seeing the connection here.

>dishonest

Firstly, how? In what way is he dishonest as a person?

Second, what does that have to do with being wary of trusting the daughter of the devil?

...

>Firstly, how? In what way is he dishonest as a person?

>No one posting this page.

For shame.

Ok first of all, you should know people hate Johns' Batman for a reason. It's shit and always OoC.

Second of all, he created Brother Eye in reaction to his teammates brainwashing and removing memories from both himself and Catwoman without telling him. There was nothing dishonest about his intent.

See
Hes ninja trained you fool. He literally fights by deceiving his opponent.

Thats the point

On the off chance you're actually being serious, the contexts are completely different in every way and don't warrant an analogue in even the slightest sense.

Fibbing to get the upper-hand on a villain does not constitute dishonesty as a characteristic.

This makes no sense. He knows chemistry, he knows engineering, as long as he has instructions and doesn't have to improvise he should be able to do these things in a breeze.

What kind of retards are these writers, that think basic chores are hard for anybody?

...

It's one of the quirks of the character. He is completely incompetent when it comes to cooking and cleaning, and sometimes even stuff like tying his own tie.

It's not to be taken seriously, it's comedic.

Grow up a rich boy not wiping your own ass and see how much you know about doing laundry.

I think this does Batman well enough.

Think this one is better

It makes it even better if you know that Clark is completely naked in this panel.

Is that a girl or a robin hiding under his covers?

How has this not been posted yet? (Yes, I know it's not really him.)

Goddamnit, that's hilarious. The look in that man's eyes perfectly conveys a broken soul.

It's Robin.

It's Dick

>no image of batman and joker kissing

...

"What are you?"

"A stupid sandwich."

No Batman ! It's the Joker you must rape !

...

I know physical chemistry and materials engineering, and could barely boil water until less than a year ago.

...

>Firstly, how? In what way is he dishonest as a person?

Well, I mean, there's all the lying. And the manipulation. There's a reason most of his partners get absolutely sick of him and strike out alone, man. I a lot of runs, Bruce manipulates everyone around him. Half the time I'm not sure he even notices, it's just how he works.

Which runs?

>some rodents fly
I like that analogy

Blah blah BVS Blah Blah.

...

>implying Alfred didn't keep putting presents under the tree

just stop

It's meant to be comedic user
Batman can do anything and yet has to rely on Alfred so he won't starve

...

Really guys, no one?

>comics will never have Superman tell Batman to quit being a gigantic contrarian faggot about everything, and only that because only the word faggot works for his level of bullshit

>Arkham Knight ending

I'm m not sure if I'm impressed, or disappointed that we have gone this long without posting Thomas and Martha bleeding out in an alley.

I'm still not clear on who that was.

Neither is Rocksteady

I really hate when characters are written to be emotionally volatile to he point of realistically not being able to function just for plot purposes. If Bruce literally tears up and breaks down anytime someone says out loud that his mom or Jason died I don't think he'd get very far in life.

And? He doesnt implies he is trustworthy. It's like a bigger from Chicago telling you to be careful around niggers

Context is a social worker came in and is interviewing so he kind of has to have a reaction or else it might look suspicious

Brother Eye wasn't a problem until Max Lord got his hands on it.

...

...

That's my kind of guy.

Spoonfeed me what comic this is.

Superman/Batman #78

>implying bruce wouldnt force him to stop so he could brood and be edgy year-round
c'mon tom

>ALFRED, SHUT UP AND LET ME EAT RATS! YOU'RE NOT MY REAL DAD!

I think it was pretty much clear that Batman just realised criminals weren't afraid enough of him to stop comitting crime, and even more after the Scarecrow publicly unmasked him, so he just faked his death, went into hiding with Alfred, severed all his personal connections, and stopped giving any fucks about criminals' mental wellbeing, hence using fear toxing to become a haunting vengeful spirit in the eyes of the criminals
