Sounds like a good time to buy

i think i'm gonna kms

i lost over $20k from btc falling the last 2 days

i'm unemployed and unemployable and cryptos are my only hope in life

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA MOMMY WAKE ME UUUUUUUUP AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

>guy at work sold one of his cars and put 30k in when it was at 19k

lol

tfw sold everything in december 31

>I-it's ok guys, please relax, trust me i'm a billionaire who loves trump, i'm on your side

I thought Pyramid Schemes were illegal?

Did anybody say bubble?
Fucking idiots never understand.

>oy vey it went up 5000% over a few months, but now it's down 30% TIME TO POST PINK WOJAKS AND KILL MYSELF

Imagine being this shitty and emotional of an investor lmaooo. Literally the retards who buy a stock, sell when it dips 10% because they get nervous then buy it back when it's up 25% again.

It doesn't even have to be a bubble per se, shit goes up and down, if you buy bc after it spiked monstruously don't expect it to go up forever. Whoever bought in at the peak is a retard.

buy high sell low

they're IMPOSSIBLE in this NEW PARADIGM

>bought 1 BTC as a joke back in 2013
>sold it last december
free cash for me

that is my whole point dude
people who got their bitcoins when mining was easy or even when they were not that high are the true winners
Now that everybody is heating the market bit coins will fall and the last buyers are the ones paying the broken dishes, just like in every single bubble in history

...

hahahaha

you suck at math

Emmanuel Macron here, your president. I express myself in English so that the populace understands. Don't worry about cryptos, I can not say more but don't worry if you have your savings in this branch. Just wait. On the other hand, Europeans in the European Union, you will have to pay significant taxes on your capital gains.

It'll have to drop under 4k for me to lose anything

>That feel when cashed out before the dip

It’s down 50%+

Well then I guess it's time to sell everything and buy back in 3 months when it's at $25k.
Flawless two step plan to lose money

>I put 20 dollars on the bitcoin, I cashed out when I earned 50 dollars. Now I can buy tacos for 1 month

half of all people who own bitcoins are losing money

ALLLLAHU AKBAR
ALLLLLLLLLAAAAAHU AKBAR
BITCOIN FAGS BTFO

>Being this buttmad
And no, my initial investment was 1.2K.

You only lose money if you sell at a loss. Hold it for 10 years retard. Look at the general trend of the price.

Obligatory

youtu.be/KTf5j9LDObk

>buying in the middle of the fall

No. The good time to buy will be when everyone gets depressed and says that bitcoin was a scam, that it will never ever rise again, that it's time to sell before BTC goes back to zero... Here, you buy.

t. bear market knower

Pink Wojaks are hilarious

I enjoy the show

>people are literally happy they caused the dip

So you wait 10 years or win two cents instead of selling right now and losing two bucks
That is a great idea if you want to keep tour money frozen, I would rather take the loss and invest the remaining money somewhere else

>Unemployable.
This word more than most pisses me off. Just means you're lazy and consider yourself above the average joe.

I love them a lot too.

Wojak is truly an immortal meme; just when you think it's dying, it gets new hilarious versions.

> tfw still holding and not planning to sell my stack to (((them)))

>look at how I'm justifying my miserable buy with an even more miserable sale (at a loss)

Literally the crypto equivalent of "I married a roastie, but don't worry, I let my black bull take care of her"

You may reinvest the money in a losing trade while if you would’ve held, the price would’ve probably bounced and you wouldn’t have lost a dime. Just zoom out for once

What make you think the bitcoin will rebound ?

Post Elysée with timestamp

(((McAfee)))

The long-term movement is up, not down.

No it is not, it means you do not have to sink with the boat just for the sake of going till the end

or it could never recover, you can give nothing for sure when you invest, it is not that easy to predict the market

>The long-term movement is up, not down.

Go read something about financial bubbles you retard

i've got some american real estate to sell you

>Emmanuel Macron here, your president

Crypto Ain’t free. The tree of bitcoin and dogecoin gotta be littered with the tears of /biz/tards. Emmanuel LUCIFER macron aka “E. M.” is not my presidnet. he is Zionist globalist and probbaly israeli as well :DD. LE PEN mightier than the sword not le pen mightier than asshurt. ok. pls remigration.

Not him, Macron here. I already bought a bunch of houses in Detroit. The gentrification is coming.

>It's went up 3000% but this 50% dip means Bitcoin is FINISHED

But what is the driving force behind this movement ? Why is the bitcoin actually useful and worthwhile besides trust that it will go up ?

>it means you do not have to sink with the boat just for the sake of going till the end
That is true, but frankly one shouldn't buy when all the retards from /biz/ get smoking hot in the first place. If you bought a long time ago you have no reason to sell now. It doesn't matter if the price goes up and down, because you're holding for the long term.

So the long-term movement is down, even though it went from 0 to 9000-ish since the beginning? Retard.

Bubbles pop, and then the price goes up again to finally get higher than it was at the top of the bubble. Look at the S&P 500 price after two big crashes in a decade. (Yes, yes, the Japanese counter-example, I know. At some point in the future it will get higher though. Who cares if you hold for 30 or 50 years?)

Not a bad investment, but somewhat too expensive to be bought now.

>But what is the driving force behind this movement ?
Ultimately, it's just trust.

>Why is the bitcoin actually useful and worthwhile besides trust that it will go up ?
Usefulness is not a criterion to assess value, or only an imperfect one. What is the usefulness of gold bars? Of a Picasso painting that's inside a vault? etc. But bitcoin is actually useful to hide money, launder money, and commit all kinds of crime for sure.

>look at the S&P 500 price after two big crashes in a decade
It's backed by a real economy tho.

so working alongside poles and earning minimum wage for 12 hour shifts is what the average joe is doing?

Nice, ibwas waiting for this desu.
When will peoplebstar jumping off buidings??

Ps will buy btc when its 1usd = 1 btc

What's that got to do with what I said? At least you're working, these privileged little petals are all "you wouldn't understand" or "i can't socialise" or some bullshit nonsense.

The subject was whether you can recover from a bubble popping or not. The answer is yes. That's all.

Side question: how is the Goldman Sachs stock (which is in the S&P 500) more "real" than bitcoin? Most of their profits come from ruthless financial speculation, which is so sophisticated that it makes bitcoin look amateurish. What if they invest in bitcoin now? Would bitcoin become part of "a real economy"? I can't understand your point of view.

> 1usd = 1 btc
I'd put my life into it if this ever happens, but sadly it is extremely unlikely for this to happen again within our lifetimes

GS is way more diversified than simply bitcoin. It holds stocks of various companies, mortgages, assets which have their own value and generate their own profits.

Bitcoin litteraly only has the trust that you can sell it higher as a back up.

I do not know buddy
If you buy Ikea stocks and then it crashes, at least you have wood to make a fire
If bitcoin crashes you are left with nothing but virtual money which is worse than monopoly bills

...

>stocks of various companies, mortgages, assets
...whose value also depends on trust, along with underlying criteria (usefulness, rarity, productivity, whatever); but trust is what determines the value of all these assets, essentialy. Why don't you trust trust?

>the trust that you can sell it higher as a back up
No, because no one can predict the market. Even though the long-term tendency is up, you would be a fool to buy just because you hope to sell at a higher price. Bitcoin may be down to $2,500 at the exact moment you'll need to sell. What will you do then?

I know what you mean, but there is life after a crash. Most assets do recover, and there's always a profit to make after some time. (Btw you cannot buy Ikea stock, it is not publicly traded.)

TOP LEL

Hey, there are people who did actually use bitcoin when the oh-so-trusted real-life ATMs (with solid real-life money) ceased to work in their countries. Think of the recent events in Greece or Venezuela.

>daily reminder that the withdrawal limit at ATMs in Venezuela was recently at $0.30 (converted in U.S. dollars) per day
>meanwhile, citizens of Venezuela who owned bitcoin led a good life

So your picture has it completely wrong.

>tfw i don't know how this shit works

I really really love this meme.

So the best thing you can do is stay away from it, desu.

but i want to make money with bitcoin
how do i start

The price falling right now, and a basic rule of investing is: don't catch a falling knife.

Wait until the market is absolutely depressed and the price becomes more stable. And do extensive research on bitcoin (how it works, where to store it, how to protect it...) before investing any money.

if only i had fucking money
it was like 4k in september 2017 and i was well informed about bitcoin unlike in 2011

its wiped out 6 weeks of gains. watching the newbies sweat is entertaining.

haha what

merci beaucoup

bump

if bitcoin is alternative currency, where can I use it to buy something?
Seriously, why would anyone trade something that has no role, beside possibility it will become another currency, like dollar or euro?

People should trade bitcoins when you can actually go outside/online and buy yourself anything with bitcoins

>
You can sell them for real monies.

You can slo buy stuff on silk road with it.
