the best

Turkroach food.

What is the big yellow stuff? The rest of it is fucking delicious, the only thing the turks did right in their 500 years on the Balkans.

mamaliga is a porridge made out of yellow maize flour

Looks like palenta (polenta).

>cockroach food

It's like grits but more condensed

whats the taste

godlike.
it's basically minced meat and rice covered in cabbage boiled, and the mamaliga, the yellow porridge, goes well with milk or cocoa powder

>said the turkroach

Well, my mom is Brazilian and used to make plenty of polenta and bolo de fubá when I was little, so I'd probably like it. Is mamaliga like gypsy food?

Still butthurt about Istria, manlet?

Tastes like boiled mince meat, rice and cabbage.

i do not always go for the pickled peppers, but it seems fine. Some fried eggs, sunny-side-up, would go nice with that.

So, it's like cabbage wrapped in cabbage? I guess that's okay for poverty tier cuisine.

said the burger whose grandpappy ate sauerkraut .

It's minced meat and rice wrapped in cabbage. I don't understand why people here like it so much. Tastes a bit bland and I don't like cabbage because it makes me sick.
Spit-roasted lamb is where it's at.

Cabbage rolls are amazing

Is that yellow heap pollenta?

Yes. I hate pollenta. Bland, heavy and awful, gritty texture.

I second that, same for charuto de repolho, which is basically the Brazilian version of cabbage rolls with rice and beef.

Daca mai era niste smantana sau branza langa mamaliga era 10/10
