Why's everyone so dead today?

>Minister for Transport Shane Ross accidentally voted against his own Road Traffic Bill in the Dáil

Any plans for the night?

Have a feeling somebody is going to put in a complaint about me at work over something small. Just some rando stranger from another public service that didn't seem too happy about my delivering something despite him knowing 100% what I was delivering.
Wasn't anything too important anyway. Everyone else I deal with just signs and fucks off.
This cunt asked me my name.He just seemed pissed off. I DID NOTHING WRONG OK.
Might have to murder him.
Watch streams and play rust maybe.

What was the bill about?

Jesus, Micheál Martin would sell his own mother if it improved his chances of becoming Taoiseach.

The first Deus Ex is probably the greatest game I've ever played.

I tire of this facade. Also...
>Fine Gael TD Kate O'Connell told the house that it is when the country was most Catholic that it was least Christian
Much impressive.

sad robots

>robot
I thought she was just some sort of cyborg.
Is EP2 out? Good?

I was thinking about autism hats at work today and it got me thinking. You know how you see that american fashion trend where hoodies had "I have depression" printed on them.
I wonder could I get away with wearing a hat like that, or just a shirt with something similar printed on it like "I am socially awkward". for meme purposes.

It's a bit shit desu, kyoani haven't done anything good in years

He's likely taking advantage of Leo's ambiguity on the issue.

Try wearing this hat instead

>Fine Gael TD Kate O'Connell told the house that it is when the country was most Catholic that it was least Christian
What did she mean by this?

>that it is when the country was most Catholic that it was least Christian
ORANGEMEN OUT OUT OUT OUT OOOOOOUT

>trying to elicit sympathy for Roma gypsies
Good luck with that.

>likely taking advantage of Leo's ambiguity on the issue
Imagine that anyone who cares strongly about abortion is never going to vote for either of the two of them, so I doubt he will gain very much.
Guess they will take every opportunity to one up each other these days though, what with the massive stalemate that exists between the two of them.

>What did she mean by this
That we should all convert to Islam... or maybe to that new fangled "Cult of Leo and Europe".

Considering that MM has more to lose by coming out in support of the CA recommendation, I wonder what is taking Leo so long?

>BLUESHIRTS OUT OUT OUT OUT OOOOOOUT
FTFY

>wonder what is taking Leo so long
Doesn't want the conservative FG membership to turn against him?
Not that they really wanted him in the first place...

Don't worry pro lifers, you still have representation in the Dáil

>Doesn't want the conservative FG membership to turn against him?
But as I said, MM is running a much bigger risk with the FF grassroots in that regard by coming out in favour of repealing the 8th today.

The Pro-Life campaign really needs to get better speakers. The referendum is there for the taking.

Apparently he wants to wait until the wording is finalised. Whether that means he's opposed to abortion on demand or just doesn't want to seem light on the matter that would further estrange him from those with differing views is another matter.

>tfw met both of them last month
Think I might vote for them next time around. Better than that FG cunt Griffin.
We'll see who replaces Ferris for SF, daughter I would imagine.

He's waiting for the wording to be finalised when the proposal is brought to cabinet in the next few weeks. It's prudent for him to wait since amendments can be proposed, would seem a bit presumptuous as Taoiseach to declare a position before the protocol is complete.

Not that I'm complaining about the current Six One set-up, but does anybody else find it odd that female anchor pairing are commonplace and accepted on news programmes but male pairing are virtually non-existent?

Makes sense. I'm just surprised that MM didn't take a similar stance.

>The Pro-Life campaign really needs to get better speakers.
The Healy Raes, Mattie McGrath, Rónán Mullen and the Iona institute is definitely a bit of a dream team of clowns and jokers.

But I don't think it'll matter given the personal nature of the referendum and the fact it doesn't require much explaining. Who would be on the fence for such an issue?

>Who would be on the fence for such an issue?
You'd be surprised how many people are still on the fence and awaiting the wording of the referendum before making their decision.

I'm sure they're great lads for local issues, can see why people vote for the likes of them instead of a party politician who'll do nothing more than push the party line.

Their views on drink driving are awful though.

>Their views on drink driving are awful though.
And global warming, although I think that might only be Danny.

>does anybody else find it odd that female anchor pairing are commonplace and accepted on news programmes but male pairing are virtually non-existent?
I was thinking that when it announced. I don't think I'd like a two-man team though, I think mixed gender pairings work better.

>I'm just surprised that MM didn't take a similar stance
As we said he probably sees an opening with Leo withholding his views to earn some headlines and maybe turn some people over to FF.

>pic
Have you found a source for those? I've seen them in the threads on Sup Forums but can't find where they are coming from.

Alright, but seriously lads, imagine how savage it would be if we were still completely under the uk. Our few quid would be worth a few more if ye didn't toss out the pound for the (((euro)))

What currency did Ireland have pre-euro?

Ignore trolls and do not take bait.

...

>Catríona and Keelin finishing eachother's headlines
They're really pushing this partnership thing.

There's two more on Danbo but untranslated. I think I saw a post saying they were officially licensed.

>Catríona and Keelin finishing eachother's headlines
Surely I'm not the only one that finds that incredibly creepy?

I find it really weird. It happened so quickly that they must have rehearsed doing it.
Surely they're not going to be doing stuff like this for all the years they'll be doing the Six One?

>Surely they're not going to be doing stuff like this for all the years they'll be doing the Six One?
Well I've noticed it 3 times in the 4 times I've watched the Six One since they took over, so that's not a good sign.

>all the years they'll be doing the Six One
>years

our own version of the pound, our notes had historical Irish figures and our coins had animals like deer and salmon on it. It was pretty neat and worth more than the euro (still less than the english pound, so whatever.)

>worth more than the euro (still less than the english pound
That doesn't really mean anything.

I sure hope that you put Cu Chulainn on one of those notes
>Salmon
Quite scary

>364 days after their take-over
>Caitríona says the start of a sentence for Keelin to finish
>but a booming voice from the rafters finishes the sentence before Keelin can
>a shadow is cast over the two presenters
>a figure descends
>it's Dobbo
>he declares Caitríona the anointed one
Turns out it was all an elaborate ruse to find a new partner for Dobbo after Sharon left for the 9pm news.

Tonight's the first time I've noticed it, I wonder how many other people's heads it's slipped by?

20 years from now RTÉ scientists will finish their research into newscasting and present their completed chimera: Catrílin Shanry.

>Considering that MM has more to lose by coming out in support of the CA recommendation
I think it's obviously strategic since a party leader is so high profile it could dissuade other voters sick of FG in the next election, I suspect there will be another high profile FF member who'll be vocally against it so as to appeal to their rural socially conservative base.

>Catrílin Shanry
Think I'm going to be sick, and it ain't my cooking that is causing it.

>Dobbo
Thought that Protestant died, no?

>the Dobson on the radio is just a voice changer
>the real Dobbo is deep in meditation
But where does Aenghus MacGrianna fit into all this?

>after Sharon left for the 9pm news
You mean when she was exiled after thinking she could handle the power of the Six One by herself.

> it ain't my cooking that is causing it.
>
>But where does Aenghus MacGrianna fit into all this?
He's currently planning his take-over of the Irish under-empire

>But where does Aenghus MacGrianna fit into all this?
Is he not raising an army of Alpacas or Llamas or something?

>You mean when she was exiled after thinking she could handle the power of the Six One by herself.
Will Dobbo ever forgive her insolence?

Wonder what became of Spanny

See tag on these shades.
Do you actually like her though?

AA kidnapped and murdered Spanny on one of his first days in Ireland. The supposed Spanny that was posting after that was actually AA.

Almost weekend,what are the plans?
If you don't have any, now's the time to ask for ideas
>AA kidnapped and murdered Spanny on one of his first days in Ireland
I wonder if he still likes wearing Spanny's face

>See tag on these shades
See pic.

>Do you actually like her though?
She's alright. It's mostly a matter of preserving my claim on the ship I have the most claim to and upholding international copyright law.

>now's the time to ask for ideas
I'm all ears.

>mostly a matter of preserving my claim
Sounds very hereditary and nobility-like of you.

Thoughts on this bird?

Looks like a tit with that hairstyle.

he's /ourguy/

You think?

Someone should go through every Wikipedia article that hyperlinks the term "British Isles" and have it redirect to the British Isles naming dispute article.

>I'm all ears.
Well first you have to tell us if you have something in mind

Does the title "national bird of Ireland" fit it?

Nah. Our national bird should be the hedge wren.

There's an old folktale of how they tricked the eagle into becoming the king of the birds.

Imagine mods would fix that pretty rapidly.

>first you have to tell us if you have something in mind
Anime, games and blood consumption.

>blood consumption.
Under what form?
>Anime games
Nothing out of the ordinary you could do?
Village festivals,markets etc?

>Wren
I see,you can already tell that he's up to no good

I have plans but I'm wondering what your suggestions are.

>Does the title "national bird of Ireland" fit it?
I wouldn't say so considering I've never seen one.

>blood consumption
>vampoire

>I have plans but I'm wondering what your suggestions are.
Spit it out,Prinz Normenius
>considering I've never seen one.
Well not all Americans have seen the bald "eagle" in their lives

>Under what form
The sucky sucky form.
>Nothing out of the ordinary you could do
Well the Munster match is on Sunday, could go to that.
Regardless, isn't doing things that differ from your normal routine considered a no no?
>Village festivals,markets
Afraid not. Not sure January is a big month for festivals.

>vampoire
Just make sure it is the good kind of vampire.

...

That's a nice image.

Pedo.

>The sucky sucky form.
>All the memes have turned Poi into an actual bloodfetishist
>Well the Munster match is on Sunday, could go to that.
I'd go if I were you, always wanted to see a Munster match but never had the chance to do so
>isn't doing things that differ from your normal routine considered a no no?
Not sure what gave you that impression,it's actually very good

Reminder to buy Civ VI on Humble.

>Spit it out
Visiting family. Now what are your suggestions?
>Prinz Normenius
Wow rude.

>the good kind of vampire
What kind is that?
>The sucky sucky form.
Wow lewd.

Would sucky sucky Prinz's thighs :3

>Wow rude.
Fully intentional
>Visiting family
The nice kind?
>Suggestions
Make love to your cousins

>What kind is that?

>Make love to your cousins
Quintessentially Irish.

Soeben Haftpflichtversicherung für 50€ gegönnt mit 50 Millionen Deckungssumme überall

More of a Mayo and Habsburg thing I'd say

Pedo.

True, they're all inbred out west.

Hab Angst Brudis...

Bald ist Karneval und im Wohnheim labern schon alle was von fetten Parties in Ehrenfeld an Karnevalsfreitag und so. Werde sagen, dass ich in einer anderen Stadt mit meinen "Kumpels" feiere. In Wirklichkeit in meinem Zimmer verstecken.

Freitag arbeite ich und ich will das lange Wochenende lieber ausruhen

Could that be why he has always liked his aunties more than his uncles?
Did they do certain favours for him?

>Fully intentional
That makes it even ruder.
>The nice kind?
The only family I have that aren't nice are the ones I live with.
>Make love to your cousins
Lux please.

Lux please. I'm fairly sure I've explained this before, I saw my aunties a lot more growing up since they were the ones at home when I'd visit my cousins/were the ones that brought my cousins to my home. So it stands that I like them more than the uncles I barely met.

>The only family I have that aren't nice are the ones I live with.
We know that your dearest sister isn't your favourite person around but she isn't that bad from what I remember
>So it stands that I like them more than the uncles I barely met.
Indeed, you did spend a lot of time with them...
No really now,I see what you mean and it's only logical,I like my "step"-grandfather a lot more than my "real" grandfather too because I'm much more used to seeing him,so I can understand where you're coming from
>Princest

First the bondage now the incest, your sexual deviancy is getting out of control.
>but she isn't that bad from what I remember
No no, she is.

Is your sister the one who's always throwing tantrums?

>First the bondage now the incest
Which is worse? Are either of them really that bad?

Good night Irishmen
>your sexual deviancy is getting out of control.
Big talk coming from Anal-Auntie-Annihilator himself
>Sister
Has she been acting up lately?

Anybody got any interesting "that lad" stories from school?

>that lad who still thought wrestling was real in secondary school and tried to fight anybody who told him otherwise
>that lad who still believed in Santa at 15 years of age
>that lad with the really long double-barreled surname

Yes.

>Which is worse?
Well I can't recall any wars of succession that started over a monarch being unable to get off unless his wife was tied up.
>Are either of them really that bad?
...

>Good night Irishmen
Nighty night Lux-who-wants-some-Fux.
>Has she been acting up lately?
She always is.

She sounds like head case. I reckon she'd be a right match for AA.

>Lux-who-wants-some-Fux.
Shall get them tomorrow, wish me luck
>She always is
Tell us about her recent escapades my dear

>That lad who would bring mulled-wine in his thermos to class
