Oh man, I've figured out what bugs me about Parley's new design. Looking at her new form was aggravating me, but I couldn't figure out why. Now I know.
Her shoulders have gotten wider and her arms have gotten thicker, but her hips haven't gotten any bigger. She's sort of taken on an inverted-triangle look, which is an inherently masculine body shape. She needs bigger hips to balance out her shoulders, or else she just sort of looks like a man.
