Was he the only good person?
Just finished Sopranos

He was an AIDS patient to be. He was given a merciful death.

Why didn't Quasimodo predict this and saved Bobby?
Loved that guy. Italian Jackie Chan.
Bobby was a fat piece of shit. Why'd he eat the ziti his wife made without giving his kids any? For big fat disgusting Janice?
You're thinking of Potbelly the Lesser
it was his way of accepting her death and moving on. The kids were too young; doing that with them would be devastating for them
none of them were good people. bobby was the kind of person that could have been a good guy if he never went down that path though
I don't think he had enough screen time for us to know if he was good or bad
but considering he was a mafia murderer I think he was probably bad
Try a fucking salad.
He was a Naples mafia enforcer, pretty sure he was a bad dude.
>It's like a weight loss commercial. Before, and way the fuck before!
Melfi, Artie, and Little Carmine are the only decent people on the show
My mistake user.
>Melfi
she enabled a criminal and helped him become a better conman out of morbid curiosity. Completely ignored the studies proving she can't help him until a friend shoved them in her face and embarrassed her in front of other peers
>Artie
he wants to become one of the bad guys, and tries hard, he's just to weak. Also tries to cheat on his wife, and can't because he's an ugly fuck
>Little Carmine
I guess, but we didn't know him enough
too*
Adriana? She fucked up but had good intentions.
What all three have in common is they eventually realized what they were doing was wrong and changed for the better. It isn't much, but compared to the other sociopaths and scumbags, it's a lot.
she was entirely complicit by virtue of being ok with being engaged to a known mafioso
No, he turned vicious by the end.
Artie was the only good guy
yeah Adriana was good, her death was so sad. She looked like a puppy when Chris left to the gas station :(
Is that why she was sucking Tony's dick when they got into that wreck?
There was cum all over the rear view mirror!
Little Carmine was shit he instigated a lot of wars and usually lived in Miami living the life as others fought for his inheritance money.
Artie was a cuck, he wanted to be a mafia guy but he couldn't beat anyone up. he'd talk shit and threaten his wife because that was the one person he could beat up
Melfi got raped, so she's a whore
Artie i
>money grubbing, coke sniffing whore
>good
>Quoting a quote everyone already knows
>getting it wrong
fhdjksfhdsfdsjafk;ealfe
Not entirely, she distanced herself as much as possible and tried to be independent. Eventually thinking she could change Christopher.
Shows the naivety and innocence in her character. I mean getting into a car with Tony's most loyal family member? Obviously had no idea what she was dealing with all along.
stupida facking game
there is a true life stereotype of old large italian men in the ny/nj/li area who are obsessed with toy trains and hobby shops. i dont know how this originated but any toy show in that area is filled with them. dozens of bobby baccalas talkin about lionels.
Look at this. Its before and way before.
They were all bad people
Han Solo... my arch nemesis...
>tfw you dont have a fly hunnie to re-watch the sopranos with
sil was my favorite character btw.
It's weird hearing older people use the word "cum" for some reason
show me where tony used therapy to become a better conman, only time time this happened was with junior but that was a legit strategy to deal with old people. he often used her as advice when making decisions
His expression is hilarious and I don't really know why, never gets old
We're all bad people.

best Silvio scene
off the top of my head he read The Art of War and he used her advice to establish dominance (by beating up a guy who did nothing). Also he figured out Chrissy's hate towards him (which led to him seeing him as just a nuisance and killing him).
"I've been coming here for years. I know too much about the subconscious now."
Why do you know so much about trains user? You aren't a train-guy are you? It's just a fucking train, what the fuck are you getting all excited about!?
..."I get it!"
What did he mean Sup Forums?
am I wrong for thinking ades death was deserved and chrissies heartbreaking. she fell for fbi lies and wanted to rat on her family, but chris was always loyal, he would have followed tony to hell like he said
There is nobody on Sopranos that didn't deserve what happened to them
>yfw you see the wine glass move by itself
>but chris was always loyal
He was going to run off, only when he saw the normies outside did he change his mind.
I always thought that Melfi was key for Tony to interpret his dreams.
'Ey, you gotta bee onna your 'at!
you can still empathize, chrissies story was truly tragic, tony used and molded him until he was worthless for him.
Not Jimmy. He wasn't a rat. He was set up
the scene always makes me wonder, was his problem that the father was a schmuck or that he saw the kids and realized that adrianna maybe can't have offspring
>good
Dude he killed people, thats not good, but he was a Saint for putting up with Janice's shit.
he probably was a rat, he made bail immediately and made up bullshit about fingerprints on dollar bills. then he tried to get junior to talk at the funeral and then wanted a sitdown to discuss old shit
It is tragic but I can't emphasize with him because he had an opportunity to give it all up and redeem himself with Adrianna but instead had her killed and continued to involved with the mob. And his descent back into his drug problems where he killed his sponsor and ultimately himself.
His problem was that it was too normal and boring for a workshy sociopath like him. Same with Vito and the carpenter job
A little from column A, a little from column B.
Christopher couldn't handle reality. His escapes through mafia fantasies and drugs did nothing to ease his pain. Seeing the normies outside drove that feeling home. He naively believed that if he stuck with Tony he'd be a big fancy gangster, when in reality he was an uneducated junky fuck.
I think he was a rat. I mean, aside from that evidence, keep in mind that every other mob guy was a rat.
Possibly both but I'd lean more to the former. Like all the mob he cared about image and pride above anything else, plus he loved the life. So really it was a narcissistic minded decision that had little to do with loyalty to Tony
>always loyle to his capo
How many times did Chris try to kill Tony again? At LEAST once that I can remember which is more than enough to deserve it
The only time I can think of was when he stumbled into the Bing drunk as fuck waving his gun around.
He finally became The Sopranos in that scene
You guys ever think about how big of a coincidence it is that Lou Gehrig died of Lou Gehrig's disease?
but taking that opportunity meant putting your family and friends in jail. ratting is morally wrong, it means not taking responsibility for your own actions and punishing others for an easy way out
Nothing tops his speech at Livia's funeral
one of the running themes of the series was once you were sucked into Tony's vortex, you were no longer innocent. Bobby was a murderer, Adriana actively helped to cover up a murder, Carmella enjoyed the fruits of her blood money.
The only one with clean hands was Melfi, and she nearly destroyed herself with her fascination of Tony, and only redeemed herself when she closed her door for good.
>ratting is morally wrong
I'd argue letting known killers run free is way worse
Yeah but he also could never have kids with Adriana because of the damage done to both of her uteruses
How come Barbara turned out to be so normal compared to her siblings?
It's sad, really. Tony wanted a better life for his family than his father gave him, and in the end they all ended up sucked into the mafia bullshit.
>Ade was bad because she wanted to change Chris and live a happy, law abiding life with him
>Chris a good boy he dindu nuffin, he was loyal to the fucking mafia and chose it over his fiancee
Because she got out of Jersey and wasn't a psycho like Janice.
>both
Keked
she didn't act out of kindness of her heart, she was too scared of jail. she also enjoyed chris money and was a dumb naive bitch that was down to fuck tony
>better life
Johnny was a saint
Morally? Fuck no. Still a murderer and acting proxy for Junior's rackets.
Genuine and loyal though, enough to earn the trust of Tony and eventually become a very close associate when everything was going to shit. His story is pretty sad really, would have been a decent guy outside of that life and not born to a infamous mafia hitman father.
>fucked penn and teller
>good intentions
she was a whore
this. These people seem to love all the mafia loyalty bullshit as if it's a good thing. Makes you think...
>he wants to become one of the bad guys
Shut the fuck up, retard. He had a bit of a mid life crisis, but he was never trying to get into the game. It didn't help that his viper cunt of a wife divorced him.
You're not gonna believe this. He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. The guy was an interior decorator.
He was literally a stand over man who beat the shit out of people and threatened them.
>drugs make u evol!
What are you, 4?
>his wife is a cunt because she didn't want him to be involved in the mafia
wow
>he a good boy he dindu nuffin
his house looked like shit
It was just Penn, and she just sucked his dick.
>implying you wouldn't.
all he wanted to do was a bit of business with tony, tony would never fuck him over
He couldn't help it if the entire DiMeo family decided to nest in his fucking restaurant. What was he gonna do, poison them? His wife was in permanent bitch mode, you rarely see her smile during the entire show.
>all he wanted was to do illegal business with the leader of a mob
yeah he a good boy
not everybody is a righteous pos, you'd probably call the police on your own kids
>not feeling sympathy for the baldy cunt means I'd betray my own family
and well it depends, if my kid tries to kill me or my other kid you can fucking bet calling the police is only the best case scenario
