This isn't approved by the comics code authority this is not approved by the comics code authority at all.
Also is this an appology for the new 52 Valentine's day special
There's a market for bimonthly Deadman, starting at 6 freaking dollars???
Evan Wilson
It's prestige format and like 48 pages so why wouldn't it be 6 dollars
Mason Cruz
It's not entirely clear if they mean twice a month or every 2 months
Joshua Cook
The covers cool.
Thomas Barnes
The interior art preview looks great. Honestly, the occasional weird book like this is exactly what I want in Rebirth. Fall brings us this, Hawkman and Vigilante: Southland. Good shit.
Austin Collins
If it's three issues and double sized then it's most likely every other month.
William Powell
I fucking love the preview art
Robert Johnson
Hmm... I don't know if I like romance comics, but I bet I'll like one with Deadman in it.
I'm kind of surprised DC is going back to publishing the more experimental stuff so fast (not counting their other imprints) after all that "meat and potatoes" talk. Not that I'm complaining.
Thomas Ramirez
What does prestige format mean does it not have ads or something.
Colton Richardson
The great thing is there doing both fancy alterntive stuff while the core comics really are back to what they should be.
Gavin Wilson
Well their meat and potatoes strategy seems to have worked pretty well, if the A list books were flopping still we probably wouldn't be seeing the niche stuff
James Gray
OF COURSE they mean every other month.
Caleb Morris
Well considering how much twice monthy stuff there putting out right now it's not that far fetched.
Then again at that price it might not sell at 2 a month
Christian Parker
Wait there's a preview
Joseph Taylor
Oh I found them that's pretty nice
Jaxson Bennett
For those not in the know, this looks to be DC mashing up Deadman with one of their bygone horror anthology titles from yesteryear, "Dark Mansion Of Forbidden Love", later renamed to "Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion" in an attempt to garner more sales. The intent was to create something of a Gothic romance/supernatural soap opera anthology akin to Dark Shadows.
Double-shipping the big books basically takes up the place of most of the shitty selling books so weird shit is just extra vanity projects to build up good relationships with creators.
Jose Nelson
Good relationships are important
Tyler Lee
So it's a real fancy quality physical book. I wonder if that means the digital edition will be cheaper. (Still more expensive then most with the page count of course)
Bentley Reyes
I really hope it sells well
Isaiah Wright
It's not going to
Thomas Anderson
>good comic >selling well
lol
Liam Powell
Hope Night Force shows up
Kayden Bell
>Gothic ghost love story with Deadman
I hope DC has other prestige-length miniseries planned for C and D-list characters because this is great.
Ayden Green
>I'm okay if she's SJW thing I heard about ten years ago >not SJW thing I heard about two years ago
Who cares, user? I'd read a Deadman meets the Otherkin story if it was written well. The writers keep bringing this stuff into stories because its a variety to a previously binary trait that characters had, and that can be interesting. It's the readers reaction that makes it political, so stop reacting and it'll stop hurting your butt.
Thomas Young
They have an Adam Strange & Hawkman mini and a new Vigilante.
Isaac Morris
I think those are normal minis. More weird stuff is good though.
