Hey Arnold episode Arnold's Christmas.

...

Everytime as a child when I saw this one

What happened to him? Haven't read yet

I can never watch this episode without shedding tears.

>Ben
>Ben get the fuck back here you orange scaly faggot
>My scans can pick up anything

>As a child
Liar, you still do.

The amount of restraint Alfred has always kills me

I'm not gonna lie. I waited years for this scene and I still cried my eyes off.

...

Sting is probably the most underrated sad Futurama episode.

...

...

I wonder why flying fast doesn't burn superman's hair more often.

Appa's Lost Days, especially the scene where Appa and Aang dream about first meeting.

Nothing. No media has made me full on cry. Get a bit teary, maybe, but never had a tear roll down my cheek from anything.

Man don't do this

Here we go.

...

...

Ow my heart

...

I gotta go find a palate cleanser after this

>implying cats give a shit

Yup, that broke me.

>Yorick became Terry Pratchett

>ITT:
>dying dog from futurama
>sad dog from samurai jack
>something resembling sad from random capetrash

And people say you can't get good serious story's out of silly concepts

Every fucking time

I don´t know why, but the first time I watched it it didn´t really get me. However, on my second viewing I choked a little at this line.

...

You got balls posting that image here.

It broke me too...

What do you guys consider to be more emotionally powerful? A straight up dramatic series of any kind, or a comedic centered series that once in a while delivers an emotional punch?
I´d honestly go with second.

I wouldn't prefer the second beacuse it seems to me extremely artificial. An overall dramatic series which has a few strong tearjerker moments seems to me a better example.

Damn that was touching.

It's as artificial as the writers make it.

Just look at OP. Futurama is consistent comedy yet their emotional punches are legendary.

-Seymour
-Luck of the Fryrish
-Time Keeps on Slipping
-Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings

Incredible emotional moments! But from the same series I think you can see that if done poorly or with no proper build up it is hollow, like you say. I think Lethal Inspection's ending was way too artificial, especially since Bender and Hermes had virtually no relationship over the course of the series. The musical choice was pretty jarring too because it is very difficult to associate innocence and preciousness with Bender.

every sad thread.

Wut's da mission?

Underrated

As someone who has owned multiple cats and dogs, I can guarantee you they can give a shit.

PUT A FUCKING SPOILER TAG

Goon has had a hard life

That's like complaining about spoilt deaths In a death thread

...

that one comic where spiderman unknowingly let a small homeless child die in an alleyway he passed on a regular basis.

Why would you post this?

She didn't die. She got sick and he took her to the hospital. AND THEN THEY WENT FLYING WITH ALL HIS SUPER COOL SUPERHERO FRIENDS.

...

The ending to All Dogs go to Heaven.

Doesn't count anymore, retconned with Lars Fry being there, dog was put down by Bender anyway. Also Lars' life montage was sad, and this.

"We'll make our mark."

>Those shitstain movies about how great polyamory is and frys time clone cucking him undid literally everything that made the original series good

The series ended for me with The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings. Feels good, man.

Be thankful you never saw the animal episode.

If only

gets me every time without fail

i know this is a repost but I still couldnt help chuckling

thanks user

As an animal lover this film reduced me to tears for a half hour straight. The only other film that was able to destroy me this way was Of Mice and Men(1992)

I read it in Stephen Colbert's voice. Thanks, Venture Bros.
