There are people who unironically say Bruce is a bad dad

>There are people who unironically say Bruce is a bad dad

Bruce best dad.

They hate the character and want dumb excuses.

Bruce is a great dad, the thing is that he is rising children to lead the JL, to save the world, and to pretty much improve everyones life, he is a hardass, but given the context he is just right.

He is terrible when it comes to dating advice and sex education.

Kings Bruce is a good dad. ONeil's Bruce is a good dad. Tomasi's Bruce is a good Dad. Morrison's Bruce was a good dad.

Sadly Snyder's Bruce was an autistic retard and most people are casuals that started with the New 52 so that is all they know.

Well, thanks a lot Ostermann

>Bruce best dad.
I'm sorry user, but that title belongs to Plastic Man.

most of his fuck ups are also born by contrived plot lines and writers trying too hard

...

>Tomasi's Bruce is a good Dad
fuck no

This
Dixon's being the absolute worst of this and Snyder being not far behind when it comes to modern writers

You can argue he was grieving when he made Tim cry and purposefully tried to trigger Jason's PTSD, but yeah he was shitty in that arc.

>there are people who seriously proscribe a father/son relationship between Bruce and his apprentices
>these people probably do the same with Alfred/Bruce too

Fucking disgusting

Oh I'm sorry, did you miss the arcs after Damian died where he reconciled with everyone? No? I bet you only read the out of context panels of trying to get Jason to relive how he was revived and not the panels after that where Bruce sat by his bed all day and apologized and hugged him telling him he is home.

...

>where Bruce sat by his bed all day and apologized and hugged him telling him he is home.
That was Lobdell after Death of the Family wasn't it?

Im pretty sure it was in B&R not Outlaws.

>this scene
>these ears

damn I'm smiling too

That was RHATO #18. A Lobdell special

Only time I remember a scene like that was this gay as fuck scene from Outlaws, after Joker tried to make Jason into Two-Face.

>gay as fuck scene
I see what kind of person you are. I bet you hate the Batfam.

Forgot image.

>bet you hate the Batfam
I love the Batfamily, It's just I remember after reading this that I thought it was a pretty gay scene. Could be Jason's apparent nudity.

>be bat son
>get shot

True

>it's a "we have to shill Dick so make Bruce an asshole" issue

Dixon please go

Anybody else read these with Kevin Conroy's and Loren Lester's voices?

Dick was shit in that too tho

>dixon

Dixon had to milk a relationship that was already fixed for a decade.

source?

nightwing rebirth oneshot

>tfw no stretchy dad to have stretchy hugs with
>tfw no normal dad to have normal hugs with
>tfw no dad

D'aww

I wonder what would have happen is DC went through with their plans to kill Dick during Infinite Crisis instead of Superboy

A lot of people in every age group would have been seriously depressed.

jason would've been nightwing, would've been poorly received, and they would've brought dick back a year or two later

I get why they changed their plans, but I don't understand how they went from making Jason Nightwing, to making him Japanese porn instead.

in the original plans jason was probably gonna be nightwing cause he loved dick and wanted to honor him by turning a new leaf
in the one we got instead, while he did turn into a tentacle monster, it was said he only ran around in the nightwing outfit because imitation in the best form of flattery

apparently the dick not dying thing and superboy dying instead was pretty sudden so i don't blame the writer for shitting shit out on short notice

>sudden so i don't blame the writer for shitting shit out on short notice

I'm going to enjoy that image of the writer running around in panic thinking of a way to rewrite the story' then his eyes fall on his copy of 'The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife'...

...

...

Always, Sup Forumsmrade.

...

Whose thought boxes?

We don't know but he's probably gonna be a villain in the first Titans arc

new 52 antithesis is my guess if he's not a new villain.

bruce was a douche to everyone in requiem for Damien

Judging by the dripping blood motif and his talking about targeting the Titans and wanting Robin to "sustain" him, I'm guessing it's Brother Blood. He's also one of the few TT villains iconic enough to warrant this kind of build-up.

Awesome. And it'll never happen because status quo. It could have, while DickBats was a thing, but they squandered that opportunity. Hell, he hasn't even made full member of the League as Nightwing.

...

Well with Montoya, Kate, Maggie Sawyers, possibly Ivy, Dick got plenty of the L word alright

And Alfred probably makes him lasagna whenever he wants it

>the thing is that he is rising children to lead the JL, to save the world, and to pretty much improve everyones life
The question is, with all his world-greatest-detective powers why can't he find superpowered kids that can actually achieve anything to raise instead of circus kids and mildly athletic nerds who keep getting killed (even if they all came back, darn it cape comics)

All of the Robins are actually his bastard children that he came to raise once they were old enough to fight.
How else does one man "accidentally"stumble across so many attractive blue eyed, black haired teenagers?

he doesn't look for them, they just end up finding him or forcing themselves on him

source por favor famiglia

IIRC Jason was a dyed ginger

Nah, he's been black haired since Crisis, the only time his hair was ginger was when Morrison went on his everything is in continuity spree.

Batman & Robin Eternal

kek

Oh. I never thought to bother with it, as it was a weekly. But was it good?

No
It was mediocre to bad

Like I can recall like 3 individual issues being okay or good.

#13 was probably the lone highlight. After that it goes downhill in both art and story.

That depends, tell me how do you feel about Harper Row?

The ending of Court of Owls was so disappointing that I stopped reading Snyder's Batman afterwards. I have no opinion; she seemed fine in her introduction.

>not liking best girl

Harper Row was born with a special power, she was stronger than all her classmates in the robin fighting academy.

>psssh...nothin personnel...damien...

>it's fine when Cass does it

...
