>ywN EVER be entering adulthood in the early 2000s
Let's face it, this was the BEST time to be 18 / 19. The best shows, the best movies, the best vidya, it was before all the SJW / alt right nonsense, the Internet was still young but not so much that it was just nerds online... why even live if you didn't get to experience this time as a careful young adult?
Xavier Fisher
I actually did get to be a young adult during that time and you were probably still in diapers when 9/11 happened you faggot
Ethan Wood
I was 6. So no. But not too far off.
Was it as glorious as I imagine it was?
Ryder Allen
I was 14 in the early 2000's. Socially, it was a much more carefree world. They were good times. By 2008 things started to change for the worse though.
Luke Powell
>tfw 10 on 9/11 I still had some good times. Teens now are desperate and not chill.
Blake Phillips
Nah prime time is the 90's as a 20 something year old , peak of white society right ther home boy I'm Puerto Rican and I would have loved to been older during that time. 24 now
Blake Flores
Hey didn't i fuck you last August?
Landon Rivera
I didn't mean as in I like being dominated by white dudes or something, I can't explain it man people and times were just different. And also thats when the best pc games came out.
Kevin Lee
I do miss the old internet a lot, fucking normalfags ruined everything.
Levi Long
>ywn browse the internet on a dreamcast again
Benjamin Moore
>ywn be old enough to get hammered with pals and play four player split screen Mario Kart 64 when it came out
It hurts...
Cameron Clark
I was in my eighth grade biology class when they made the announcement over the loudspeaker. Several people broke out crying.
Anthony James
Not the best time, just the last time to do so and develop into a well-rounded human being who isn't plagued with debt and identity problems.
Benjamin Perez
OH no....
Kevin Taylor
>mfw I can actually remember doing this as a kid, only with my older siblings and their friends
goldeneye and super smash bros was what you really missed out on.
Mason Sanchez
Bruh things didn't really get better or worse, it's just nostalgia. All the things that were available back then in terms of entertainment are all available now, thus making this era better by default. Something like IPhone 7 would have only been available to a few rich people back then haha, now everyone and their mother can have one.
Jason White
Unequivocally, yes. 2004 looks like absolute prime time for love and adolescence.
Jayden Miller
The entire 2000s were a horrible time for /fa/ tho.
Matthew Lee
,na. Powerstone on the dreamcast.
Aiden Powell
>ywn see 2 buildings collapse under 30secs because an airplane hit then Feels fucking bad
Anthony Harris
that came later, but was quickly replaced by the PS2.
Thomas Cox
Who gives a shit about fashion? I'd gladly trade their horrible clothes for a better, comfier time.
Easton Lewis
i really really miss the internet of the early 2000s :(
Robert Martin
I did, times with internet minus the social media idiocy were great .
Zachary Martin
It was cool. I spent most of the early 00's broke as fuck so it wasn't that great for me but it was still pretty good.
Lucas Johnson
Same here. Good-ish times. Beats the shit out of today.
Leo Ross
I'm curious: Why do people often refer to mid 2000s things as being early 2000s things?
James Morris
>Let's face it, this was the BEST time to be 18 / 19. AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
HAAAAA HAA HAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAAA HAAAA HAAA
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAA HA AHA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAA
t. 32 year old wizard
Jack Davis
What's the matter child? Shouldn't you be on Sup Forums right now?
Angel Sanders
You have no idea how shitty it was to be in college in 2003-2007. And the job prospects when you got out were terrible. People of that age are expected to make less money and have less quality of life than anyone younger or older right now.
Bentley Clark
The early 2000s and 00's in general were a time of unprecedented mediocrity. I understand why some who didn't actually grow up then might think things were better, but they weren't.
The 00's were striving to be exactly where we are now, albeit for a less jaded population. We have solid technical and artistic methods built up through so many years of striving to be more technical and more artistic.
The 00s were dreadfully, almost shockingly mediocre and dull, the 00s were where your pic related was responsible for entering with George of the Jungle.
The 00s were Austin Powers. You are wrong.
Mason Smith
>You have no idea how shitty it was to be in college in 2003-2007 Yeah because that's totally worse than being in college 2008 and post 2008 when the recession hit.
Things aren't even that bad now, they certainly weren't bad in 2003.
Jordan Foster
>best entertainment available >worst job prospects Checks out.
BUT young people probably don't realize how shitty some stuff was back then, ie the Half Life 2 launch day. Endless bug list on most PC games. Good porn and good hentai were insanely hard to find. Buying magazines to find good informations about upcoming games. Dial up modems. Stuff like that.
Aaron Sanchez
Wait, you're an oldfag and you don't like George of the Jungle and Austin Powers ? What's fucking wrong with you ? Next you'll tell me you don't like The Matrix either.
Easton Harris
Wtf I can just watch back over them
Who cares about muh tv shows its not an argument
Gavin Scott
>Nah prime time is the 90's as a 20 something year old >24 now You were a small child throughout that entire period. So how would you know?
Oliver Sanchez
The early 2000's were fucking terrible. Stop trying to romanticize them you Gen Z faggot.
Jason Wright
This. 2000's was the decade of the Uber Chads. At least now you have more chances to shine without being a dumb meathead.
