If kryptonite is lethal to kryptonians then why isn't it super lethal to humans?

If kryptonite is lethal to kryptonians then why isn't it super lethal to humans?

Different body composition. It's like how radium isn't lethal to Superman.

AUGHHHHH A LAZER BEAM/LIGHTNING BOLT!!1

Well Luthor did get super cancer from carrying one around him all the time.

It's just not lethal to humans at the same rate.
Shit'll still give you cancer.

If chocolate is lethal to dogs, why isn't it super lethal to humans?

Different physiology.

Same reason we don't get weaker when we're in red sun lamps.

Kryptonite radiation is lethal to Humans and Kryptonians and just about anything fleshy really however Kryptonians access their unique abilities by repurposing solar radiation which they soak up like a sponge. Kryptonians absorb more radiation (don't question how, just go with it) therefore the Kryptonite variation acts quicker and harms them more.

it was established post-Crisis that radiation from Kryptonite can harm humans if they are exposed to it long-term, like the way Luthor was always wearing that Kryptonite ring that eventually caused him to develop cancer.

friendly reminder that computer monitors give off low-level radiation, and that while the "acceptable" amount is regulated in many countries, spending a lot of time on the computer could lead to an increased risk in face/throat/thyroid cancer. enjoy your internet shitposting while you can!

>if aids is lethal to humans, then why isn't it super lethal to squirrels?

One thing I like about the DCEU is that kryptonite itself isn't powerful enough to hurt Superman and take away his powers. It has to be turned into a spear to actually hurt him and gas to take away his powers. Even then, he still had some of his strength left. Honestly I don't like kryptonite all that much, seems more like a crutch for when you're a bad writer.

>implying it won't give me super powers

>The power to shitpost at twice the speed.

You'll be a god, user.

Superman is weak to Kryptonite. Humans are weak against plutonium, which incidentally also glows green.

Why isn't Earth lethal to humans?

Some of it is

It is. IF they fucked liked monkeys,we'd hear more about it.

Yeah, but radiation is more like being hit with a hammer. It's kinda universal.

So why isn't Superman weak to Radium?

Because the Kryptonite makes him homesick and Radium does not.

It's only certain frequencies of radiation that harm Kryptonians. It's not even all forms of kryptonite that are harmful.

Superman is a faggot
Flash is 200% better in all ways
