Squadron Supreme #9

The Rise of Zarda

This is ACO's first Marvel project, and his next will be random variant covers.

Narcissistic narration

Alright Sup Forums power princess zarda or Sinister Zarda
I prefer the dreadlocks

So I guess in the all new multiverse they died this way instead of incursion.

Spooky and sexy

...

Damn Attilan has been infiltrated like 5 times now. They need better security.

Huh? Did we even see that Squadron Sinister in the prelude to Secret Wars?

Namor's dick is the key

...

...

Thing is every part of Battleworld came from destroyed earths, or recreated from it.

Here they just State they died from a planet dying.

The whole cast showed up in Squdron sinister.

Or maybe she escaped just in time for the universe to be recreated while doom recreated her on battleworld?

iiirc she was the only one to survive in the secret wars mini too. With that and Maestro getting the destroyer armor kinda like he did in his mini, I think they are playing of twisted versions of their mini endings.

extra long chapter

...

Nce they saved her, she's the last earth 712 character.

...

Well. Guess they're trying to fit things in.

...

...

that's got a serious Dragotta vibe, from the FF issues he did

Next time, the squad makes sure Namor stays in the grave

Looks like they're using a namor frm the past.

My king returns

Is it going to be a new Marvel rule that previous, liked versions of Squadron characters have to be punked whenever they appear

With them showing how the earths die is time around for the new multiverse, I guess their past was still in canon until the world died.

Still weird world and ultimate earth must have never existed.

i cant believe they copied the Elektra cover. Hmm

I feel like they're going for a Wonder Woman thing, which makes sense

Why The Rock is Namor?

He is making a reference to some guy on twitter saying wondy copied an elektra pose when wondy has been doing it forever.

dear god

This is probably my favorite on going at Marvel right now. Glad it's continuing.

It wasn't just some guy, Guggenheim one of the producers on Arrow and writer of comics in the past, retweeted it as well

Yeah me too.

NICE

This comic completely contradicts what was established about Ulysses.
Up until now, all of his visions didn't take into account him having a vision about them, thus they could be avoided and there were no self-fulfilling prophecies.
But here, Ulysses' vision is what causes the events in his vision, what gives?

He sees the future, and then it happened if you don't change it.

Are the squadron bad guys?

I don't think you understand my point.
Everywhere else, Ulysses uses some kind of super math to calculate the most likely future. People then use the intel to avoid these futures. Tony's whole argument is that he doesn't really see the future.
But if Ulysses can see events caused by his visions and causes them to happen, then that would actually prove Tony wrong.

Would never happen, she needs to dye her hair blonde.

Well it's Marvel editors. They're obivoulsy been shifting into a 1950's style sense of contunity.
