What are your thoughts on Taiwanese independence?

What are your thoughts on Taiwanese independence?

>you will never see completely independent Hong Kong and Taiwan
Feels bad man

Chinese Taipei has been an integral part of China for 8000 years. I support One China.

why is this kind of topic so appealing to westerners?

Should gradually merge with PRC

republic of china only real china

Do you ever visit the casinos? Do you see a lot of rich fucks around?

>China is the new big bad
>Self-determination is a noble cause to support (so long as it's not in your own country)
>Plenty of Taiwanese expats in Western countries who are eager to voice their political views

>Taiwanese independence?

How about instead of that, Taiwan takes control of the mainland?

They are independent.

French submarines in Taiwan master race

They can't handle the sight of a successful non-democratic country.

PRC like this kind of view nore than independence

Not even Taiwan’s Independence movement want secession from the Mainland.

if you dont support taiwanese independence you dont support democracy

people deserve self determination, even if they are not europeans

That's because they know there's no fucking chance of it happening. They'd probably get pissed at the ROC even if they did something like renouncing their claims to Mongolia.

It will never happen, as long as China isn't democratic.

Democracy has nothing to do with it, no democratic nation would let such a valuable state secede.
Many of them forbid it in their constitution.
*cough*

These guys too.

Untrue
There are tons of place on the planet that have similar situation though
A democratic PRC with its current population will not allow such thing happen even more so than a nondemocratic PRC, unless it managed to avoid being populist and make the population believe something different from their current understanding
