Yeah I loved it, amazing city
I'm from Michigan.
I've been to Hong Kong, Australia, and of course the Philippines
I enjoyed most of the experiences. Hong Kong kinda sucks in some ways but I would like to go back and do it with more money. I plan to retire here in the Philippines before I'm 40.
What was your experience in the US?

It was nice
> very few pedestrian zones
> plastic cutlery almost everywhere
> all shops are open on Sundays
> you have to remember what employees helped you in the store and then tell the cashier, because they compete with each other to score employee of the month points
> abysmal or nonexistent public transport
> everyone is extremely polite, especially waiters, but you can sense it's superficial politeness
I went with an open mind, as it's not my country and I didn't go there to force my culture on them, but it's very strange and exotic for me. I wouldn't like to live in the USA.
I had pretty much the same experience. Especially the superficial politeness was annoying. People in general seemed pretty shallow. Nature was great though, I didn't like the cities and people that much.
