Lord of the Rings

Why did they feel the need to add a short scene (3 seconds) of a token black guy in the extended edition?

LOTR would basically never be allowed today displaying racial homogenity as something good.

>the arnor generation
THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE
ARNOR IS A FUCKING POLITICAL REGION
THATS LIKE SAYING THE "MINNESOTA GENERATION"
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Maby they're referring to the first generation to live in Arnor after it was reestablished by Elessar

This is now a orc thread

...

...

That's a Maori. Gondorians are meds so just pretend he has Harad ancestry or something.

Orcs are supposed to be dark though
Thats how Tolkien describes them

But fuck accuracy right?

...

...

You know "The Pale Orc" was from tolkien right? Azog was the leader of moria and killed Thror which sparked off the war of dwarves and orcs.
In the books he was killed long before the events of the hobbit and his son Bolg with an "iron shod head" was the leader of the goblins/orcs at the battle of the five armies.

reminder that you're no better than this if you use those memes

this is too fucking good

...

All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not reached by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king

...

>Where now the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing?
>Where is the helm and the hauberk, and the bright hair flowing?
>Where is the hand on the harpstring, and the red fire glowing?
>Where is the spring and the harvest and the tall corn growing?
>They have passed like rain on the mountain, like a wind in the meadow;
>The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow.
>Who shall gather the smoke of the dead wood burning,
>Or behold the flowing years from the Sea returning?

>Sup Forums attempting a comfy lotr thread
Could you please at least try?

>racial homogenity
But the flick is literally about a team of hobbits, dwarves, elves, and humans teaming up. That's next-level multiculturalism when you think about it.

all the civilised races (of europe) cooperate to drive out the turks but they all stick to their separate societies (except for the political marriage of arogorn and elf woman)

no multiculturalism

And an elf woman sacrificing her immortality in favor of diluting her magical blood, while the rest of her kind leave their lands.

Really because Legolegs and Gimli, you low effort shit poster.

To the Sea, to the Sea! The white gulls are crying,
The wind is blowing, and the white foam is flying.
West, west away, the round sun is falling.
Grey ship, grey ship, do you hear them calling,
The voices of my people that have gone before me?

I will leave, I will leave the woods that bore me;
For our days are ending and our years failing.
I will pass the wide waters lonely sailing.
Long are the waves on the Last Shore falling,
Sweet are the voices in the Lost Isle calling,
In Eressëa, in Elvenhome that no man can discover,
Where the leaves fall not: land of my people for ever!

Its not multiculturalism when you leave the poor and violent races out of the equation.

>clearly a violent race, even a sort of arabic people, all trying to invade the civilized world

but fuck you Sup Forums LOTR is a beautiful multicural experience

Can't wait for the remake

fuck off

>not realising that the lotr memes are a satire of the left's use of Star Wars and Harry Potter

That is literally the joke
